Pádraig HydeI live in Kerry Pike, west of Cork City where I make Furniture and other wooden products.

I’m inspired by nature, places I have visited and people I have met. I enjoy the honesty of the construction methods from the Arts and Crafts era, and try to retain this honesty in my own work. I am inspired by Asian craftsmen in joinery and architecture. I appreciate good craftsmanship and admire those craftsmen who are brave enough to try to develop innovative techniques.

Monica FergusI live between Oysterhaven and Kinsale with my partner and our 3 cats. My ceramic fish wall pieces are inspired by the beautiful and captivating forms and colours of living fish. Some are based on tropical fish; others on the fascinating species to be found right here around the shores of Ireland. In our studio, where fish swim past the bottom of our garden, I shape every piece by hand and paint every piece with its own specially mixed glazes. Each piece is unique.
