HMT Ajmer has developed, manufactured and supplied the Air Bleeder to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). The manufacturing process of Air Bleeder involves very high sophisticated technology and is critical one since it is an important and critical part in developing and manufacturing the same with team efforts of its engineers and employees.

HMT Machine Tools, Bangalore Complex launched the new Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) for educational and training purposes, on 23rd June 2016. The FMS was inaugurated by Shri Vishvajit Sahay, Jt.Secretary, DHI, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, GOI, New Delhi.

The first FMS has been built against a purchase order from National Institute for Technical Teachers Training, Chandigarh. The FMS comprises of Sub-systems like CNC Lathe, CNC Machining Centre, Automated Inspection Cell and Automated Storage & Retrieval System. These four sub-systems are tended by an industrial robot and conveyor system. The cell thus forms a totally automated turnkey solution. The system is modular and can be easily tailor made to suit individual customer requirements. The World of Industry (WIN) INDIA Show was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi by Hannover Milano Fairs India Limited (HMFI). WIN INDIA is the India edition show of Hannover Messe. Department of Heavy Industry (DHI) was the co-host while Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry(FICCI) was the Industry Patron of the show. WIN INDIA 2015 edition had strong national and international presence.
