Introduction

o GSEC Limited, An ISO 9001-2008 certified organization, is a publiclimited company registered in 1965.

o The company was established as Gujarat State ExportCorporation Limited by Government of Gujarat.

o In 2004 Govt. transferred 56.6% shares and the company is nowowned by Mr. Rakesh Shah (Chairman & M.D.).

o In Oct. 2006, due to subsequent exit of govt. company changed itsname to GSEC Ltd.

Total Tonnage handled has decreased over 0.19 % since last year.

% Growth of cargo handled decreased YOY.

Facts :

Tonnage & Revenue are directly proprational .

Whereas , Profit & Expenditure are inversely proportional.

As tariff is constant since 2010. % Increase in Expenditure affects the revenue margin.
