live," You can also say, “Because George Clooney has filmed a movie where I live, our region has made a come back in this bad economic

time." Aside from the good news, the bad news is the fact that the airport will have to close one of its largest ter-minals, termi-nal D. Since

most of the filming for this movie will be done in Saint Louis, it will bring plenty of good things. One of these things is plenty of jobs, an-other is money. Though researchers aren't sure how much money our re-gion will gain, one thing that is sure is that there will be many George Clooney sightings.

Something that is definitely not up in the air is the fact that George Clooney and his co-star, Vera Far-miga, are coming to St. Louis; the movie that is being filmed is called Up in the Air. An Oscar nomi-nated director, Jason Reitman, will be direct-ing this big budget film with many no-table stars. The filming starts on January 5, 2009. It is said that film-ing will take an estimated five months. This movie is based on

The Jonas Brothers, three very fa-mous singers, are making a 3D movie coming out February 27th, 2009. This is their Burning Up Tour plus many backstage fea-tures. Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift are also featured in this film. Some songs they sang include “Burning Up” and “Tonight” and many more. Some of these include songs from their older album Jonas Brothers. The 3D movie will in-clude 3D glasses and a new song only heard on this movie. During

their tour Demi Lovato was their opening act. Joe, Kevin, and Nick all are featured in this film includ-ing their family and friends. You will see what life is like for them on tour and with their friends in this movie.

the book, Up in the Air, by Walter Kirn. The plot is about an advisor in human resources, played by George Clooney, who is trying to reach his lifelong goal- to earn one million frequent flyer miles. But all of this is not just Hollywood fluff; economic advi-sors say that this movie will bring an estimated $50 million to our region. This money will come from profits from things like hotels and food services. Many people will also be employed during the time period of the filming. So aside from the fact that saying, "George Clooney has filmed a movie where I

There were a couple performers that you may have heard of. There were the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Corbin Bleu from High School Musical. Most of the children there were sons and daughters of military professionals and children from thee Boys and Girls clubs of

dogs get taken to the pound, Andi and Bruce’s old foster parents don’t want them anymore and so the two are separated in different foster homes; everything seems

hopeless. But will Andi and Bruce be will-ing to face the consequences ahead of them to rescue the

dogs from the pound? Will their plan even work? Answer these questions yourself and buy tickets for Hotel for Dogs today! It is rated G and is a movie the whole

family will enjoy!

If you saw a stray dog roaming by the road, would it break your heart to see the poor thing without a home and family that loves him? Do you always wish that you could save every stray dog off the street and from the pound and take care of them all? Andi (Emma Roberts), and Bruce (Jake T. Austin) are foster children whose foster parents are crazy. One day the two and their beloved dog, Friday, find an aban-doned hotel with two stray dogs living there. After a couple of in-cidents Andi and Bruce are tend-ing to the dogs’ every need and want. After Bruce and Andi meet some friends who are willing to help take care of the strays, things get a little more organized. Bruce

starts inventing contraptions to keep the dogs healthy, happy, and active while the others are not there. Some of the inventions in-clude a fetching machine, a “restroom” area, vending machine filled with shoes to chew on, a treadmill with a bone hanging in front of it, a “ride” where dogs feel like they’re in a car, and so much more. It seems like there’s at least one invention that fits the needs

and wants for each dog!

Just when they think every-thing is all hunky-dory, they get caught and a stream of bad luck pours out all over them. All the

I’m sure that you have all heard of Barack Obama becoming the first African American presi-dent of the United States of Amer-ica. He was officially sworn in on January 20, 2009 as our 44th presi-dent. Here are some details for the

big day.

Barack Obama and Joe Bi-den were inaugurated on the steps of the U.S. Capitol Building by John G. Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. There were roughly 240,000 tickets sold for Obama’s inauguration on Capitol

Hill. More than 1 million people arrived at the parade, despite a bone chilling day in 32 degree

weather.

There were 10 inauguration balls that Michelle and Barack Obama attended. It is said that the last ball that they attended was at 2:30 in the morning! Michelle Obama was wearing a white Jason Wu gown. Some people are even comparing her to fashion icon Jac-queline Kennedy. Jill Biden wore

a red Reem Acra gown.
