The Stopwatch Mode
Select the “Stopwatch” mode
The “A” button starts & stops the stopwatch
Who has the fastest reflexes?
The Interval Mode The Interval mode can be used to measure the time
through an individual Photogate or the time between two Photogates
Connect one of the Photogates to the timer
Select the “Interval” mode
Turn on just light “A”
This will measure the time through Photogate “A”
Pass your finger through the Photogate
Turn on just light “B” for time through just “B”
Interval Through A & B
Select “Interval” mode
Turn both the “A” & “B” lights on
Pass your finger through the Photogates
Interval Through A & B
The CPO Timer will also record the time trough just “A” & “B” simultaneously
Turn both lights off
Turn on just “A” & then just “B”
Frequency Mode The CPO Timer determines
frequency by using the Photogates or the Sound & Wave Machine
The CPO Timer records two different frequencies simultaneously
Period Mode
The CPO Timer determines period by using the Photogates or the Sound & Wave Machine
The Timer updates the period every other cycle
The CPO Timer can monitor two different periods simultaneously
Counter Mode
This mode counts every time the light beam is broken
The CPO Timer can monitor two different Photogates simultaneously
