participated in many activities that have

improved our reading, writing and speaking and

listening skills.

MathematicsIn mathematics I have leant that multiplication will help you a lot

in division. In times tables I know my 1, 10 and 2 times

tables. I’m trying to get my 5 times tables but I still haven’t

yet though.

In art we are designing our own mythical creature. On paper card you draw your mythical creature then you put things on like for a horn

you can use tooth picks.

Are We There Yet? Weather

The Way Things Work

CommunicationIn term one we focused on communication. I worked on braille with a friend. We got our information really fast. We put our information on a poster. We found out that Louse braille made braille. It was fun.

In term one we focused on SIMPLE MACHINES! One thing that I learnt that was interesting was that When you have a cylinder and a inclined plane you can wrap the inclined around the cylinder you have just made a screw. Did you know that the lever and the inclined plane are the king and queen of all the simple machines.

Are We There Yet?

In are we there yet we did a project. You could either do a mobile or a

diorama. I chose to do a mobile it took 2 hours and a half and I did it on Phillip

island.

Weather

This year we are learning weather. I am learning on cyclones with my friend George. What we have

been learning with the class is the water cycle, clouds

and wind.

In sport we are doing tennis and my favourite sport is basket ball. My team is

called sharks and I play on Saturday mornings.

In our hall we made a video of all reports around the world in

front of a green screen. He went to places and took the

photos.

Learning By DoingIn the hall we were learning how to

build a little wooden crane. I was working with my friend klaas.

Camp Kangaroobie When we went to camp we saw kangaroos when we were on the trailer in the back of the ute. We had to do a obstacle course with lots of mud every where it was

extremely fun.

mandarin ice – cream tastes like butter. Everyone hated the ice-
