Creating and Implementing Effective Transition Plans Cost: FREE South Dakota public school educators, school-based clinicians, and families have the opportunity to participate in this day-long training on the fundamentals of creating and implementing effective and strength-focused Transition Plans. Purposefully planning for transition is important to help students develop the knowledge and skills as well as roles and responsibilities that are required by most adults in most settings to be successful. Participants in this training will have the opportunity to learn the basics of transitions plans, how to focus on areas of interest and strengths of their child/student, and how to think creatively to meet the unique needs of their child/student along with preparing them for a successful future.
