CSP Multi-Channel Overview

Step 1 Turn off “auto-renew” or wait until the subscription expires*

*Early termination fees may apply if you cancel their subscription earlier than their commitment.

Cancelling an Office 365 subscription Direct/Advisory: You can cancel at the end of your term by turning off auto-renew:

1. Sign in to Office 365 with your work account. 2. Go to the Office 365 admin center. 3. Select Billing > Subscriptions (or Manage and buy subscriptions). 4. On the Subscriptions page, click a subscription, and then click Turn auto-renew off.

At the end of your term, the subscription will expire and you will no longer be billed. Warning: If you cancel Office 365 before the end of your term, you may be subject to early termination fees. Term length:

• Office 365 Enterprise or Office 365 Midsize Business: Your term is for one year, with the option of paying by the month.

• Office 365 Business Essentials or Office 365 Business Premium: Your term is either for one year with the option of paying by the month, or month to month.

• Office 365 Small Business or Office 365 Small Business Premium: Your term is either for one year or month to month.

OPEN/FPP If you bought your subscription through the Open or FPP channels, it will expire at the end of your term and you don't need to cancel in another way.

Step 2 Send the account admin the CSP acceptance link

When customers receive the CSP invitation email and invitation link, the customer first clicks on the embedded invitation link. The customer will be taken to their Office 365 admin portal, and are required to sign in using an admin account in order to accept the invitation.

After receiving the CSP invitation email from you, the customer clicks on the invitation link and then is prompted to sign in to its tenant.

Customer must sign in to its tenant to accept the CSP invitation. Note that the person accepting the invitation must have the global admin role permissions on its own tenant.

Customer reviews the CSP invitation details and must click “Yes” in the checkbox, and then clicks Authorize CSP to accept.

This is the what the customer sees after clicking on the invitation link.

After accepting the CSP invitation, the CSP partner will then appear within the customer’s admin portal in the list of delegated admins.
