20,000+ Xim the Despot conquers a vast region of space. His conquering armies plunder and subjugate thousands of worlds. His royal guard consists of war droids programmed to guard him and his stores of treasure. Ruthless and unscrupulous, Xim commits atrocities against those he conquered, including mass spacings. Xim ruled for thirty years before the conquered star systems were finally able to overthrow him and end his reign of terror. [HLL] 1

c. 20,000 The Age of Warlords has passed. The first galaxy-wide government, The Republic, is formed. Jedi Knights appear. Hyperspace travel is already well known. A period of galactic peace and expansion begins. Much knowledge about this period has been lost over the millennia. 1 3

c. 9000 Coyn — Beginning of the four millennia long Warring Clans period [9000-5042].c. 6000 Merisee — The Joining, Violent volcanic eruptions and seismic shifts create a land bridge between the two main

continents and alter the climate of Merisee. This begins approximately seven centuries of sporadic warfare and colonization attempts by both Meris and Teltiors [c. 6000-5300].

5671 Kidron — The first Grand Council of all the Sahhs, Start of recorded history.5400 Elrood — The planet is colonized by settlers from the Old Republic.

c. 5300 Merisee — Over the next three centuries conflicts between Meris and Teltiors escalate; billions die and the land is devastated by radiation and biological weapons. Due to the need to survive, both races develop advanced medical techniques.

c. 5200 Exiled by his Dark Lord, Sith sorcerer Naga Sadow flees to one of the moons of the gas giant, Yavin. His followers, the Massassi, build the great temples there. [Time very approximate.]

5042 Coyn — Beginning of The Great Poisoning, a plague spawned by biological weapons that kills over half the population of Coyn. This ends the Warring Clans period.

5037 Coyn — The plague of The Great Poisoning finally ends.5027 Coyn — Beginning of the King War [5027-4996]. During this time Toral the Great bans biological weapons and

unites the warring clans under a single En’Tra’Sol or King-Law.c. 5000 Merisee — With both races on the brink of extinction, the Meris and Teltiors finally make peace. Small, reactionary

warlike factions of both races are unable to tolerate peace. They retreat into the mountains.5000 Golden Age of the Sith (Depicted in Golden Age of the Sith). Powerful Jedi Knights who have fallen to the Dark

Side overrun the Sith people and force from them the secrets of their Dark Side “Magic”. After this, the joint armies of the Republic and the Jedi Knights destroy the Sith, an ancient race of dark magicians. From this time, the Sith are first thought to be extinct.

4996 Coyn — End of the King War. Toral crowned Toral I [4996-4986], En’Tra of all Coyn.4990 Fall of the Sith Empire4986 Coyn — Arl’Toral, son of Toral, succeeds his father as En’Tra [4986-4941]. Arl’Toral brings peace to the planet and

revises the En’Tra’Sol.4949 Coyn — Discovered. This marks the beginning of the Age of Discovery in Elrood Sector, a two-century period

during which most of the major planets in the Sector are discovered or colonized.4932 Kidron — Discovered.4918 Merisee — Discovered. Merisee quickly joins the Republic, which provides decontamination droids and food.4750 Derilyn — Settlers from the planet Elrood found a colony.

c. 4700 Merisee — Warlike factions of both races combine to form the Loag, a secretive cult of warrior -assassins. Their escalating reign of terror engulfs Merisee and even spreads to other planets in the Sector.

4676 Kidron — Prompted by the effects of contact with the rest of the Galaxy, The Second Great Council of all the Sahhs is held. Kidron elects to join the Republic.

4451 Merisee — The Loag are finally stopped by a half-dozen Jedi Knights. A grateful population venerates the memory of the Jedi, three of whom were slain fighting the Loaggi.

c. 4400 Freedon Nadd (a Dark Jedi) introduces suppressed Sith teachings to the rulers of the planet Onderon. Nadd’s dark-side powers flourish unchecked for four centuries.

4150 Merisee — The decontamination begun by the Republic has now become so successful that Merisee is now exporting food and medicine.

The calendar starts anew with the Year 0 AE. The Great Jedi Purge - the Jedi Knights are hunted and killed. The first stirrings of rebellion begin. [18 BSW4] 1

Vordarrion Hawkwing turns to the Dark Side, becomes one of the Empereors Chosen and takes the name Shadow.2 Sereetha Fairchilde, mother of Bren Fairchilde, dies in a speeder crash.

Jedi Master Darrel Arkanian heals Corwin Shelvay and takes him on as a student.7 Shelvay is taken by Inquisitor Tremayne. Master Arkanian is killed while rescuing Shelvay, his student.8 The events of the Droids and Droids II comic book series occur. [10 BSW4] 2

10 Senator Niles Wuxod of Derilyn makes his planet’s opposition to the Emperor’s power known. Soon after he disappears. Many on Derilyn suspect Imperial Security is responsible.

First Star Wars Campaign(3 years BBY to 0 years BBY)

15.01 Minetech Mining [Mark] (NOV 1994) Tora Jesek and Janessar Rae meet in the Painted Lady on Grelldine. Meanwhile in the Corporate Sector Authority, Captain Alamé Montoya and her Sullustan first mate, Mouse, have fallen behind on their ship payments to loan shark Ploovo-Two-For-One. Thus Montoya and Mouse take their ship, the Argo, to Grelldine for “a little run” which lands them in dentention. Later Tora and Janessar break out of the detention area along with a bunch of prisoners, including Montoya and Mouse. Tora, Janessar, Mouse, and Montoya all escape in the Argo and later enlist the aid of a holonews reporter to stop the fatal poisoning of Grelldine’s water by Minetech Mining.

15.02 The Road to Ropagi [Mark] (Twin Stars of Kira Sector) Tora, Janessar, Mouse, and Captain Montoya try to recoup their losses on Grelldine. They bargain with Ars Morlek an arms dealer, to sell the Minetech Z-95 they captured. Kird Telak, leader of Telak’s Terrors a band of pirates in the Kira Sector, cheats the players.Near the planet Coyn in the Elrood Sector, the Cometary Shipping liner, White Star II is destroyed by terrorists.

15.03 First Bounty [Mark] On their way to Elrood, Tora and Janessar rescue Zoe Radell and kill Vald Laymer, one of the four terrorists responsible for the destruction of the White Star II. Janessar acquires a navigator, CS-M0 or “Cosmo,” a silver protocol-style astronavigation droid, from Zoe’s grateful father, Brem Radell.

15.05 A Few Credits More [Mark] Tora and Janessar rescue Grakkatta, the Wookiee, and then infiltrate Boss Kaggle’s organization on Lanthrym so that they can get Uglok Squeeg, the second White Star terrorist. They meet Boss Kaggle and his Chief of Security, Vaun Kleef. Kleef is a very dangerous gunfighter. [Kaggle is now an enemy.]

15.06 The Weeds of Crime [Mark] Tora and Janessar rescue Marya Lambent (a prototype artificial lifeform) from bounty hunters from the Vulture Syndicate and take her to Kidron. Tora stays on Kidron, becomes the pupil of Gen Stridenko, Jedi teacher. Janessar continues his quest for the White Star terrorists. Tora trains until the pebbles tumble to Osirrag. [The Vulture Syndicate is now hostile.]Search for Guns [Mark] While attempting to get parts to upgrade his ship’s weapons on Korad, Janessar destroys an Imperial Blastboat and meets Doc Carson. Doc comes with Janessar becoming the ship’s new engineer.

15.07 High Road to Tekkara [Mark] Janessar and Doc meet Quicktail the lizard. Quicktail is nearly killed by a poison dart while researching several suspicious explosions on the planet Tekkara that may be connected to Intersystems Lumber (an off-planet corporation that uses slave labor). Concluding that the elusive Dante may carry out the explosions, they travel to the forest world where they encounter Dante. However, the ever elusive Dante escapes and nearly kills everyone by poison dart or explosives.

15.08 Die Hard [Mark] Janessar warns Brem Radell of a rumored attack on Radell. Janessar (and QT) rescue Brem Radell from a terrorist attack on Radell Headquarters and capture Morx Dragg, another White Star terrorist. Drag is later poisoned while in custody.Shopping Spree [Mark] Brem Radell asks Janessar to take Zoe and her cousin, Alia Dashire, to safety at a boarding school out-sector. On the way they stop at Celanon to “shop.”

15.09 Atraken [Mark] Janessar, Doc, and QT discover the survivors of a colony lost during the Clone Wars.On Elrood, QT and Janessar part company. Janessar has his ship’s armor upgraded with a special combat-mode armoring enhancement done by Radell Shipyards.Follow the Money [Mark] A solo scenario for Quick Tail. It leads to clues to Dante’s whereabouts.


A Safe Trip [Mark] An old speeder bus makes Tora’s trip to the High City of Refuge much less safe and much more interesting than it might otherwise have been. Tora meets some native Orfites and “guests,” including Laxia, a young Hodin orphan girl, and her grandmother Taroo and begins to use her new power in the Force.

15.10.01 Trouble in Paradise [Mark] With Tora, Janessar, Doc, and introducing Bren Fairchilde, as the kid. The heroes must help the people of Ossirag defeat the vicious and numerous Bloodsniffer’s Swoop gang that has been sent to terrorize the planet. Though successful a number of Bren’s childhood friends are killed by the Swoop gang and Bren must face the Swoop gang leader to win back his girlfriend Arda, who has been taken captive. Though she is rescued, Arda is traumatized by her capture. After defeating the Swoop gang, the heroes find an encrypted data disk.

15.10 Whistling in the Dark [Mark] Responding to Doc’s holocom SOS broadcast, the Victory Class Star Destroyer, Thunderflare arrives in system and declares martial law. Tora, Doc, Bren, and Arda flee to the Isle of the Winds. The Imperials follow and begin exterminating the Children of the Winds. The old Guardian is no longer powerful enough to stop them. Arda becomes the new Guardian. The Imperials are defeated. Meanwhile, back on the mainland, Janessar is captured and taken aboard the Thunderflare and interrogated by Captain Tanda Pryl.

15.10 The Rescue [Mark] Tora, Doc, and Bren must rescue Janessar from Captain Pryl of the VSD Thunderflare. Tora confronts Pryl, a minor Dark Side Force user who looks a lot like Tora. What is that connection? Tora must face Pryl down and escape with the encrypted data disk that the heroes found. To throw off any Imperial pursuit the heroes send their stolen shuttle on a course to Kidron.

15.10 The Way of the Wind [Kay] On Lanthrym, Bren discovers the dubious pleasures of Gazi’s bar and saves Perren, a young boy, from Hela Narconis, a local crimelord and his lieutenant Tesseler. Perren’s grandfather is Keftar Solarin, the founder of Windover, a school for guardians. Tora and Bren help the guardians to stop one of Narconis’ plans. During a lightfight, Bren jumps off a roof and chases after Tesseler and blasts him. Bren watches Tessler die. Not fun! Meanwhile Janessar gets new IDs for everyone and Doc gets the data disk sliced. The disk contains information vital to the Rebellion.

15.10 Three Against the Empire [Mark] Tora and Bren go with Grakkatta to get the data disk to the Rebellion. They witness the Empire’s oppressive influence on Torina. Needing money, Tora and Bren help Grakkatta with a run to Derilyn to smuggle medical supplies to the Friends of Paran. Imperial scout troopers interrupt their meeting. Tora enlists the help of Jarg Rodan, one of the leaders of the Friends of Paran, to search for the missing Bren. Lost in the ruins, Bren miraculously survives exposure to deadly radiation. The heroes complete their mission and escape the system under fire.

15.10 As the Hawk Flies [Kay] Ionized controls during a jump land Tora, Bren, and Grakatta on a lost colony of Meristeans. Bren and his new friend Stannar repair an old Z-95. Stannar has a Hawk Medallion, when Bren touches it a green discharge of force energy travels to him and he hears a voice, “Brentarrion” and sees a silver-blond man in a green tunic. Stannar also hears the voice. When pirates attack the colony Bren flies the old Z-95 against them. Bren shoots down a pirate fighter before his partially repaired ship crashes. Bren has a vision of the Figure-in-Black from old nightmares and a Figure-in-Green. The figures discuss Bren and tell him he must choose. Bren recites the Jedi oath aloud and chooses the Light and the Figure-in-Green. Stannar gives Bren the Hawk Medallion. And who is Brentarrion?

16.FW As the Chips Fall [Kay] (Fete Week) Then back to Torina where Tora and Bren are in the Equilateral bar when a murder takes place. Tora is taken into custody on murder charges and Bren must help Astraal Bestik, a Windover Guardian, solve the murder and foil some corporate espionage aimed at Benelec. Hela Narconis masterminds the plot. The plot involves a stolen computer chip. Bren returns the chip to Benelec and meets the three founders of Benelec. Eli-Zah gives Bren an engraved, custom chronometer. Janessar arrives, Loaggi assassins kill Quicktail, and Bren and Tora go to Merisee with Grakatta. Meanwhile, Janessar and Doc depart in the yacht Intrepid to continue the search for Dante.

16.01 Shadows from the Past [Mark] On Merisee, the heroes uncover the rebuilding of the Loag assassin cult that the Jedi knights quelled so long ago. Janessar and Doc reappear (with assassins on their trail) but are soon captured in a battle at the warehouse. Tora and Bren battle Loaggi assassins with the help of unexpected allies, the Cult of Those Who Redeem. They must free their friends, Janessar and Doc. Seeking aid, Bren and Tora explore an ancient Jedi memorial. Tora gains a Jedi holocron; Bren gains a lightsaber. Rearmed in the Force, the heroes confront and defeat a Loag Dark Master with dark Sith Powers at great cost (7 FPs and the death of Lan and many other Redeemers). Janessar and Doc are eventually freed. Doc is emotionally rocky after his experiences and takes a “more restful” job on Merisee. Janessar begins turning to the Dark Side and becomes even more obsessed with catching Dante, whom Janessar now associates with his recent tormentors, the Loag. One of the surviving Redeemers, HosLe Zarn, accompanies “Sera” Tora as a companion and bodyguard.

16.01 Droids Defiant [Mark] Tora, Bren, Zarn, and Tooey take working passage as guards on an independent merchant ship, the Argent Lady, heading towards Kidron. Along the way they must stop Xalto Sneerzick and his Droid Abolitionist Movement. In the process, the Argent Lady is rerouted. To avoid capture by Imperial vessels, Bren initiates a random hyperspace jump, which nearly wrecks the Lady. (Star Wars Adventure Journal, Vol. 1, No. 9)


16.01 Out of the Fire, Into the Soup [Mark] After crashlanding on a swamp planet, the heroes must bring the Argent Lady to her intended destination. But first, they have to figure out where they are now and how to find parts to repair the ship. In the process they encounter the Orgon a strange, new race and save some Genetech scientists from the consequences of their research on the planet Gorsh.

16.02.01 Full Moons—Introduction [Mark] Tora, Bren, Tooey, and Zarn are asked by Councillor Garil Keen Nose to help the Council of Gordek on Kidron. Someone has stolen a survey report that indicates that Kidron’s moons have rich mineral wealth. The Council, fearing Imperial interference, wants the data recovered and knowledge of it suppressed. Bren and Tooey head for Coyn in a KDF Y-wing, while Tora and Zarn head for Dega in a modified scout ship.

16.02.01 Sat’Skars and Tawws’Sratt: Swords and Honor Promise [Kay] On Coyn Skyland Station, Bren rescues a young Coynite warrior (Arkel) who is caught in a House revolt. To shield the young Coynite from deadly clan politics, Arkel’s uncle Talek helps maneuver Bren into becoming Tevar’Sratt to Arkel Tevar’Tris. After rescuing Arkel’s sister Sherra, the pair, along with Bren’s R2 droid Tooey, combines to uncover Operation Anvil Strike, a sinister Imperial plot to conquer Kidron.

16.02.04 A Surfeit of Riches [Kay] With the help of Xeno Dace, Bren and Arkel rescue the Dawhinian Princess from Bonclavar Ruiz, pirate captain of the Quickstrike. In the process they capture a gravity well projector, and save Gabriel, a young (and beautiful) girl.

16.02 Full Moons—Resolution [Mark] Tora and Zarn land on Dega and are rescued by Janessar. They witness the exchange of the Data disk they seek between Dante and Manager Lankel from Grelldine (who now works for Imperial Mining Ltd. and is seen to be behind a lot of the recent trouble). Tora gets the disk but the Manager escapes. Janessar gets Dante but it costs his life. Zarn and a saddened Tora return the disk, and a rogue Coynite they captured, to Kidron.

16.02 Operation Anvil Strike [Mark] Bren brings word of the Empire’s plan to invade Kidron. The Fourth Great Council of all the Sahhs is called. This council includes the guests at the High City of Refuge. Tora goes on local holobroadcast and proclaims herself a Jedi. The Council decides to evacuate non-combatants and resist the Empire as best they can. During the evacuation Gen Stridenko dies. Tora’s lightsaber is destroyed. The Empire conquers and occupies Kidron. Remnants of the Kidron Defense Force accompany the evacuees out of the system.

16.02 Interlude: The Refugees [Mark] Tora meets with artists to help make a place for the refugees on Akana, the artists’ colony in Elrood system. One of the leading artists helping her is a potter, Sujulor Yerlsvan. While on peaceful Akana, she has some time to meditate on recent events. She ‘feels’ a pull towards the Core and possibly Lazeria. She also has time to find and open Gen Stridenko’s last gift and as well as a bequest from Janessar.

16.02.15 Basic Training [Kay] Along with several other Rebel recruits, Bren and Arkel go to Training Facility Beta located on a jungle world somewhere in Elrood Sector (actually on Tekkara). The recruits include: Rafe Cloudman; Tam Cochran; Liza Cody; Drugo, Lerg, and Skoreeg, three Gamorrean recruits; Morka, Lans Nutras, Pars s’Rang; Bindor Teegs; Skip Tracer; VorDu Val; Corris Windwalker; and Salazaar Zinn. After overcoming many obstacles under the watchful eye of their drill sergeant, Toz Bracken, the recruits successfully complete the 8-week [16.2.15-16.3.20] Rebel Basic Training course.

16.FL Mission Impossible [Kay] (Festival of Life—16.04) Bren offers to be family to Arkel, who is feeling rootless. They each swear to “stand beside you, behind you, in front of you as the need arises.” Corris Windwalker is revealed to be the long lost Republican Senator Avery Kennet. Lt. Zeal and Sgt. Bracken lead the recruit platoon to Kidron to bring special com units, medicine, and trained recruits to the Friends of Paran and a message of hope to the people of Derilyn. Bren meets Parg Rodan of the Friends of Paran, Bindor Teegs is revealed to be a traitor, and Bren saves Lt. Zeal and gets everyone to relative safety by flying an orbital shuttle through a forested park.

16.04 A Hireling Traitor’s Wages [Kay] This is in two main parts or episodes.(Episode I: The Wages of Sin) The Team returns to Base (Almar Station) with the injured Lt. Zeal. Several days pass during which, the Imperial infiltrator, Bindor Teegs, is interrogated and Bren and Arkel get tested out in a Y-wing simulator and, based on their results, they get trusted to fly a Y-wing on the next mission. Before leaving on the mission Bren has a couple of dreams involving dragons and speeder bike crashes. Bren, Arkel, and Tooey are sent to Training Facility Beta to warn them that the traitor Teegs has placed a beacon there. They destroy the beacon before it can be spotted by an Imperial blastboat. They also have to destroy the blastboat and its companion ship. (Chalk up two blastboats.) At the same time the other team members look for stashed Imperial equipment. Nutras and Zinn search Torina, while Cloudman and Cochran go to Sidron.(Episode II: The Wages of Deception) Bren, Arkel, and Tooey continue on to Torina to aid Nutras and Zinn. While there Bren meets Murlyn Tarrick (Mur), the daredevil niece of Eli-Zah of Benelec Corporation. At least one of the dreams Bren had before the mission was prophetic and concerned Murlyn. Eli-Zah sends for Bren to give him a data disk that must get to the Rebel Alliance. During the meeting they learn that Murlyn has been kidnapped by Blue, a bounty hunter. Bren has to reveal that he is a Jedi so that Derek, Eli-Zah’s security chief, will believe that Bren can use the Force to find Murlyn. Bren and Arkel, with the aid of Benelec security, rescue Murlyn. Bren uses his lightsaber in the rescue. Bren gets a kiss and gives Mur his white flying scarf – “This is so you won’t get cold.”


16.04 Where the Jedi Failed [Mark] Prompted by Gen’s journal Tora returns to Lazeria. She and Zarn find Dovan Maur, a scholar of Jedi Lore with a tragic past, and help him take his first steps out of the darkness. They uncover a site of a battle from the time of the Rise of the Dark Lords of the Sith. Tora has a number of visions both dark and light that help her to find the remains of the fallen Jedi leader’s lightsaber. [Scenario duration: about 50 days plus the time it takes to travel from Elrood Sector to Lazeria.]

16.05 Legends Out of Dust [Kay] Bren, Arkel, and Tooey go to Sidron to find out why Booster’s ship hasn’t brought back Cloudman and Cochran. On Sidron they learn that Booster is unconscious in a med capsule, Cochran has been captured by one of the native tribes, and Cloudman has gone off alone to rescue him. Bren and Arkel leave Tooey to guard Booster and his ship while they set off to find their missing teammates. In doing so, they become caught up in the Prophecy of Takleth and a quest to overthrow the darkness that has blighted Sidron. The Song of TaklethWhat once was—shall be again Restoration of water to Sidron? Amulet rejoined?What is lost—shall be found Bren finds and rescues Relas in a blinding sandstormWhat is broken—shall be made whole The two parts of the amulet are rejoined.What is trapped—shall be freed The waters of the river are released when the tower is destroyed.What is night—shall be turned into day. The tower’s destruction lights up the darkness like an early dawn.Bren and Arkel become two of the Seven from the Song of Takleth. Led by Vistar ba Alaman, the others are Havlar apTivron, Relas ba Agadz, Ali ben Jenka, Baroq of the Sky People, and Teslik son of Mela. During the quest, Bren has to confront the question of who he really is (without an answer yet) and act as a Jedi (his blaster is damaged by Cloudman and Bren must rely on his lightsaber). They defeat Kalashan the Dark Priest of Hezroth and Bren manages to turn Rafe Cloudman back from the Dark, but Cochran is lost and four of the Seven die. Arkel is injured and captured but is freed without being tainted by the Dark Side. Bren gives up a power that is not really his and makes whole what was broken. The quest is successful though Bren feels the cost is high. He builds cairns for the fallen and carves their names into the cliff wall with his lightsaber. Along with the inscriptions, Bren carves the sign of the Hawk.

16.05 City Lights [Mark] Arkel arrives on Torina about 3 hours before Bren (who is flying Booster’s ship). While there, Arkel gets caught up in thwarting bandits wearing stolen Torina Planetary Defense Force (PDF) combat hardsuits. Arkel meets Laon Murfi, a shoot-from-the-hip PDF Urban Lieutenant and Murlyn makes a fast appearance. Murfi has her arrested (for her own protection) and he and Arkel stop the villains at the last bank. Arkel kills the leader with a D’skar (his Coynite dagger). The pyrotechnics are reported by star reporter Majing Lunas.

16.ND Invitation to Coyn [Kay] On Almar Upside 4 bounty hunters (led by an af’harl Coynite) ambush Bren, Arkel, Tooey, and Lt. Zeal. Bren kills two with his lightsaber in a very high profile way and Arkel duels with the cheating af’harl Coynite. Arkel uses character points to ensure the af’harl’s death. Bren finds out that Arkel has not completed the Lom’Ka’Sol and thus is technically a child under Coynite law. [Of course this means that Arkel is Bren’s “little brother.” Somehow Arkel doesn’t find this as amusing as Bren does.] Zeal now knows Bren is a Jedi (he is not happy to get surprised by this) and those hunters were after Arkel for some family reason. Zeal tells our heroes to go to Coyn and clear up whatever problem is causing bounty hunters to come after Arkel.

16.06.01. Lom’Ka’Sol: The Coming of Age [Kay] Bren and Arkel meet the Coynite mystic Haar’ik Shaa’Lom Fa’tar and foil a small plot against Im’Toral the En’Tra (High King of Coyn). Arkel completes the Lom’Ka’Sol (coming of age). The High King himself witnesses the ceremony. Bren gains the Coynite name of Rais’Asruul’Shaa’Kar (eagle eyes). Despite and because of this, the pair is invited by the King to immediately depart from Coyn.

16.06.08 Return to Kidron [Kay] Bren is promoted to Corporal (16.06.08). Bracken and their teammates meet them at Coyn Sky-Station. They are to travel to Kidron to evaluate the status and organization of the KDF resistance. The heroes meet the denizens of Cave, one of the three major centers of resistance on Kidron. Some of the rank-and-file impress them; the leaders do not. Bren befriends a young orphan boy named Valli and meets Jenna Thede the wife of the pilot of the Shark. (The blast boat that was lost in the Battle of Kidron.) Working with a squad of resitance fighters including the Shistavanen Ganeev Skall, Bren captures an AT-ST walker and rescues a group of Orfite children.Unexpected Encounters [Mark] Tora, Zarn, and Dovan Maur are interrupted in their research by a platoon of the King’s Own Guards led by Major Vordan Resnik, an Imperial Officer. Zarn fights so that the others can escape and Major Resnik captures him. Tora and Dovan Maur hop a repulsor freight train heading east towards Dorynn. Along the way they meet and are helped by a Landowner family. Bal and Jerra have a large, pleasant family. Tora discovers that their youngest daughter Dory is Force Sensitive.

16.06 What’s Mine is Yours [Mark, 1st CARP scenario] Arrested and sentenced to serve on the Mining Colony of Berea, the players must escape from detention and hijack the ore freighter Biweth Okama before they reach the living death of the mines. The players succeed and, enlisting the cooperation of the pilot, they set course for Lanthrym.

16.06.17 Guerillas in the Mist [Kay] Bren and Arkel take the captured walker across Kidron to the Rebels at Three, the center of resistance near Orfa City. They meet Marya Lambent, an unusual Rebel, and Grinel Dober, the leader at Three. Through treachery, Dober is captured by the Imperials and Bren and Arkel are instrumental in rescuing him from the Stalker, a Victory-class Star Destroyer. This scenario features a guest appearance by Jae Walker.


16.06.19 Reckoning on Kidron: Part I [Kay] Arkel and Bren uncover the traitor in the Rebel ranks, a renegade Coynite from Cave. Bren has a number of Force related visions and memories including a vision of Tora’s fight during the Battle of Kidron and Gen Stridenko’s death.

16.06.20 Reckoning on Kidron: Part II [Kay] Marya Lambent confirms that Bren is a Jedi like Tora and Gen. Bren confirms that Marya is not biological but an android replicant built by Farrel Lambent (her “father”). Bren meets with Keetha Ma, daughter of Norta Ma the Orfite Councillor of the East. This increases his contact with and acceptance by the Orfites, the native population of Kidron.

16.06 A Cold Reward [Mark, 2nd CARP scenario] After successfully reaching Lanthrym, the players must acquire new equipment and sell their hijacked ship. To get extra income, they agree to track down and bring to justice the infamous Black Rancor biker gang. Should they succeed, their reward, while not more than they can imagine, will be substantial. The bounty is privately placed by the Narthrian Mercantile Association.

16.06.24 A Man of His Word [Kay] The cast of this scenario includes Bren Fairchilde a young Jedi and member of the Rebellion who is the friend and brother to Arkel Tevar Tris who has sworn Trac’Sorr to Bren, they are accompanied by Tooey (R2 E2) Bren’s droid and childhood companion who is helping them to look for Rijel Zillah, a smuggler pilot and a man-of-his-word who needs a first mate like Kona Tewan, a Aqua Agro technician on the corporate planet Apsu which is guarded by Vennek Tos’Zantal and his Coynite warriors from Dorok Zalaster and his pirate henchmen. Also appearing is Booster, a Rebel pilot who gives Bren a message for Rezza, a barmaid at the Hard Rock Café on Aleph Station where Keithan, a pushy bully who wants to cause trouble hangs out with his two thug pals and meanwhile on Lanthrym, Stach Meyer awaits the delivery of a box that he doesn’t expect or want and Hela Narconis awaits the delivery of the troublesome young Jedi at the start of this list.Bren and Arkel find Rijel Zillah in the Hard Rock Café in Enlil’s Belt and bring him to the Rebel training base on Tekkara. They encounter trouble in the Enlil system, first on Aleph Station and then on Apsu and things get even hotter as the heroes help the Coynite defenders to fight off a small pirate fleet. They continue on to Lanthrym where even more trouble finds them. Rijel gets the impression Bren has never met a bar that didn’t have trouble for him in it. The players encounter then same pirates again and end up causing still more trouble for Dorok Zalaster’s band. On the way to Coyn, the Force leads Bren to the Eye of Soreth, a Jedi artifact that someone has given to Rijel. The Eye causes strange visions and through it Bren learns the skill of Instinctive Astrogation.

16.06 Easy Money [Mark] Alamé and Mouse take on a deal that seems to good to be true. Of course it is. They meet cigar-smoking Rebel Agent Dade Karven. See the published scenario Easy Money in the Classic Adventures book.

16.06 Vignettes [3rd CARP scenario] In this series of short scenarios the CARP gang manages to sell the ship they hijacked, nearly kill and then rescue Grakkatta the Wookiee, really annoy Hela Narconis, survive (barely) a gunfight with Vaun Kleef, and finally leave the planet Lanthyrm. Parts of this scenario overlap A Man of His Word as Gorre witnesses much of that scenario’s action in Gazi’s and buys cigars from Rijel.

16.06.26 The White Maiden [Mark] While on Coyn Sky Station, Arkel meets Kalar La’Chu Kes’Var’Kes Th’Trar, the daughter of the Ag’Tra of Clan Th’Trar an enemy clan to Arkel’s Clan Tevar’Tris. Arkel (along with Bren, Rijel, and Kalar’s brother Garn Tangak’Skass Zal’Tra Th’Trar) must rescue Kalar from the villainous na’raisa (Coyn’s criminal underworld). They succeed and Arkel gives Kalar the name Chu’La—the clever fox who cannot be caught. It looks like Bren isn’t the only one with a girlfriend.

16.06.29 Recalled to Honor [Kay] Bren, Arkel, and Rijel reach Tekkara and Zeal sends them on a mission to Carillon (Rijel’s and Zeal’s home planet) to rescue Manta Wing. Manta Wing is an elite Carillonian Starfighter force that has been captured after trying to defect. First the heroes must find a former Manta Wing member, Raviel “Raven” St. John. After some persuading she agrees to help. They succeed in breaking the pilots out of detention in Bren’s (and apparently Rijel’s) typically unsubtle fashion. Zeal (who appears to be a major not a lieutenant) is actually on the mission in disguise. Rijel’s ship, the Habnikav is crowded with all the rescued pilots, but they manage to leave Carillon successfully.

16.06.33 X-Wings from Incom [Kay] (16.06.33—16.07.01 including the Festival of Stars) In a pivotal scenario, Major Zeal sends Bren and Arkel undercover to the the planet Treacus to assist in the defection of an Incom design team. Murlyn Tarrick reappears. Her parents are part of the design team and Bren’s cover is to act as her fiancé. They travel on the luxurious and romantic White Star Liner, Sovereign of the Stars. Bren doesn’t want to lie about this to Mur or her parents and asks Mur to marry him for real. With her assistance and that of a group of Rebel commandos, the entire X-Wing design team defects to the Alliance. They bring with them all existing plans and prototypes for Incom’s new X-Wing fighter. But all is not well. During the mission, the heroes are captured by Hawkins, an ISB agent who threatens, hurts, and tries to injure or kill Mur. Bren, uses the Force in anger to stop him; permanently. Later Murlyn’s father is killed by the Incom traitor who betrayed the team to the ISB. Surrounded by fear, loss, and anger Bren and Mur must reach out to each other to gain calm so that they can finish the mission without succumbing to the Dark Side. This reaching out triggers the start of their life-bond. The heroes recover the X-Wings and plans and after what is effectively a long second date, Bren and Mur are both engaged for real and life-bonded. Bren and Arkel have become Bren, Mur, and Arkel. Tooey is damaged in a space battle and Bren must use Instinctive Astrogation to follow Murlyn through hyperspace.


16.07 The Lions of Lazeria [Mark] In a Princess-and-the-Pauper plot-line, Tora must rescue and restore Crown Princess Aereena of Lazaria to her rightful place. Tora successfully does this without revealing she is a Jedi.

16.07.01 Redemption [Kay] (Episode I—An Ill Wind) During the trip back from Treacus, Bren is subject to frequent rages and nightmares. While in transit, the ship experiences a catastrophic navaigation malfunction and Bren must use instinctive astrogation to safely come out of hyperspace. The transport ends up in a nearby nebula in a system with a planet that can sustain life. After fixing the navigation computer, Bren must again use instinctive astrogation to find a route back to known space. Bren realizes that his rages and nightmares are a sign that he is out of balance; he goes AWOL on a journey to find what he has lost. (Episode II—Lanthrym) With only Tooey, he travels to Narthria on Lanthrym where Keftar Solarin counsels him. There he learns he must “look to his roots.” (Episode III—Osirrag) He hitchhikes home, where he travels to the Isle of the Winds to speak to Arda. He learns she is at peace with her fate. Through the Force, he speaks to the spirit of his mother Sareetha Fairchilde. She reminds him that the Jedi’s first rule is that “There is no emotion, there is peace. Anger is one emotion, self-hate is another.” From her he learns that a Meristean named Merak Tan will help him. (Cutaway—Zeal’s Bad Day) Various people give Zeal grief for the way he used Bren and Murlyn in X-Wing’s for Incom.

16.07.34 Redemption [Kay] (Episode IV—Merisee) On Merisee, Bren stays with CarJo Nor and sees Doc Carson, who is in a mental institution after his torture by the Loaggi. He and Bren help heal each other, but Bren kills again to save CarJo Nor from Loaggi assassins. Bren returns to the Jedi Temple on Merisee to return the lightsaber that he received there. He must again pass the Four tests to reach the Shrine of Aigeelops. Bren tells the shade of the old Jedi, “I failed the test.” But Aigeelops tells him “This is the test. Will it break you or will you grow stronger?” Bren realizes that his struggle is not ended or over. “I choose the Light. I am a Jedi, like my father and mother before me.” The things that he has learned on his travels have healed his rage and anger. His nightmares are over and he is at peace. He has atoned for his Dark Side point. But a vision of the Hawk shows him he must go to Sidron. (Cutaway—The City of Light) Meanwhile on Torina, Arkel saves Murlyn’s life but is temporarily blinded. Murlyn gets a premonition (Lifebond) that “Bren. He’s on Sidron. He needs me.”

16.08.22 Redemption [Kay] (Episode V—Sidron) On Sidron, Bren and Murlyn reunite. Bren promises Murlyn that she can fight by his side and names her Asruul’Shaa’Kar’Skass (the Eagle’s Heart). “I won’t cage you Mur.” Together with Teslik (one of the surviving Seven from Legends Out of Dust) they undertake a quest to rescue the villager’s kidnapped children and confront a renegade Loaggi Dark Adept. Bren is blinded by the Eye of Cha’an, a Sith artifact and must use his life-bond with Murlyn to see through her eyes to kill the Dark Sider. “I am Rais’Asruul’Shaa’Kar. I see with the eyes of the eagle. I see in light or in darkness.” The three companions rescue the children and another of Vistar’s prophecies is fulfilled—“And the Shadow who is his strength shall be blinded and then himself. With his own eyes clouded, his Heart shall see the way. And he shall smite the darkness with the sword of Light, and all eyes shall once again know truth and joy.” During their ride back to the spaceport at Maroc, Bren teaches Murlyn more about sensing the Force.

16.08 Reconciliation [Kay] On Coyn Sky-Station, Bren buys Mur an Ekkar Arms concealable blaster for an engagement gift. Later on Torina, Bren meets Ross Tarrick, one of Murlyn’s brothers. They get in a fistfight over Murlyn, but come to terms. Bren frees Arkel from his promise to protect Murlyn above all else. Mur chooses to stay with Bren and join the Rebellion and Bren gives Mur’s mother the X-Wing design plans still stored in Tooey’s memory core. On Almar Upside Bren apologizes to everyone that he wronged while he was filled with anger. Murlyn goes off to Basic Training and Bren, Arkel, and Tooey take Captain Zandar Aldrus, one of the General’s staff officers on a tour of the Sector introducing them to The Redeemers on Merisee and the Guardians of the Wind on Lanthrym.

16.08 Search for the Lost [Mark] (16.08—16.09) Tora regains a lightsaber and begins the search for the missing HosLe Zarn. She journeys to New Capri going undercover as a bounty hunter named Fox. She fails to find Zarn but finds something totally unexpected in the person of a dashing pirate named Darrien Kale.

16.08 And Baby Makes Three [Mark] Alamé and Mouse must safely deliver the Countess Aemillia Vo Vosourre to Familias Space in time for the coronation ceremony. Along the way they pick up a cradle with a baby reptile, origin unknown. (See Tiny Trouble.)

16.08 Hunting the Hunter [Mark] (16.08—16.09) Maris and Deklin team up. With the help of Tox Utat (a laconic bounty hunter in debt to Maris), they begin hunting in earnest for Janessar Rae and Tora Jesek.

16.09 Heart of Ice [Mark] Tora (as Fox) and Darien (with Tam) must team up with Maris and Deklin to discover the mystery behind the disappearance of Tox Utat, HosLe Zarn, and many others. They break into the Genetech corporate lab on Orbital One and land on a secret base in the Wastes. There a cyborged Janessar Rae overcomes his programming to help his friends and the PCs destroy the base, ending the Death Tracker process. In the process, Tora calls on the Dark Side to save Darien. Aghast at her action, she jumps ship at Kalimar Station and begins drinking again.


16.09 Tiny Trouble [Mark] Alamé Montoya and Mouse must return the baby reptile to her home. (See And Baby Makes Three.) Along the way they must avoid various forces that try to stop them, pick up an adult lizard passenger, meet a charming and mysterious thief using the name Count Reynaldo Mountbatten, break Mouse out of Kujac the Hutt’s space yacht, return the baby (who is actually a reptile Crown Princess) in the middle of a space battle between the Five Suns League fleet and Imperial vessels sent by Moff Sakai of Thuris Sector, and receive the Star of Ralna, the highest award of the Ralnai.

16.09.16 The Crimson Dragons [Kay] Bren, Arkel, Tooey, and Capt. Aldrus are assigned a new mission. Recruit the Crimson Dragon biker gang to the Alliance before they are exterminated in a gang war on Torina. On Tekkara they pick up additional personnel for the task: Liza Cody, from Basic Training, and Murlyn Tarrick. Mur rode with the Dragons while she was staying on Torina. Cody and Murlyn share a room. They do not exactly get along. On Torina, they encounter Grakkatta the Wookiee. Bren recovers his speeder bike, a Ross bike, and Bren learns that Mur’s brother Ross is the Ross of Ross Designs. Bren must prove himself to the Crimson Dragons and their leader Galen, by reckless bike riding. (Now that’s a tough one!) Bren finds out that one of the Dragons, Kevlar, was involved with Mur, very involved. Bren is surprised, “What happened?” — “A girl doesn’t like to talk about these things.” — “Not that what happened! What happened to the two of you?” — “You did.”The Dragons rumble with their rival gang (the Bloody Skulls). A sniper shoots Arkel with some sort of drugged dart that causes him to go berserk. The PDF arrive and stun and capture Arkel. Bren and Mur talk to Laon Murfi of the PDF to try and get Arkel treated or released. Several members of the gang are missing. It appears that the Skulls captured Rags (an orphan boy who hangs out with the Dragons) and Kevlar. The head of one of the missing Dragons is dropped at the gang’s hangout. Bren has to persuade the Dragons not to race off wildly (like he and the Sabers did on Osirrag). Murlyn uses life sense to find Kevlar and Bren finds Rags. Both are down at the docks. The Dragons provide a diversion while Bren, Murlyn, Cody, Jarf (a big Dragon) and Laon Murfi rescue the prisoners. Several Force Points later the prisoners are freed. Back at the warehouse hangout, Mur and Cody have to defuse a bomb that is about to go off. The bomb is a professional, off-planet job. Bren gives Galen, the Rebel’s offer. He seems receptive. Bren asks Murlyn out on a date. They stay out late making out and talking about their relationship and relationships in general. Bren knows Mur has been involved with “a few” guys. How many is a few?

16.09.23 Blue Squadron [Kay] The Dragon’s agree to join the Rebellion, but Rags needs a safer home. Bren volunteers Mur’s mother as foster Mom for Rags. The Bloody Skulls make one more try at the Dragons, but are defeated. Bren and Mur continue their sexual tension and teasing. Mur’s uncle Eli-Zah gives her three prototype long range com units: two for the Rebellion and one for Mur’s mother on Torch. Using the liberated X-wing prototypes, the Alliance forms the first X-wing starfighter squadron, Blue Squadron. Blue Squadron will later be known as the Avenging Angels or sometimes just, the Firsts. The companions succeed in qualifying for the newly formed Blue Squadron. They meet the other pilots. After qualification, Bren is promoted to Lieutenant. Bren, Arkel, Murlyn, and Cana Roselund (sent by Keftar Solarin from Windover) comprise Three-Flight. Commander Logan commands the new squadron. Raven (with the rank of Lieutenant) is his wingman. For its first mission, Blue Squadron is sent to Merisee to hijack a convoy of Imperial transports. Despite the unexpected intervention of the Dreadnought Heavy Cruiser Retarius the new squadron succeeds in their mission and the Retarius is damaged and driven off.

16.10 The White Bird [Mark] Maris and Deklin help Darien and his pirates raid the Henocrat’s Oil Fleet to capture much needed heating oil. While with the pirates, Maris is given the name Star Lady and Deklin is called Steelhand.Signs and Portents [Mark] (Still unclear if this was ever played.) Maris and Decklin continue to interact with Darien and the crew of the Waveskimmer. Together they investigate a crashed shuttle and underwater they encounter a deadly alien menace.

16.10.09 Under Cover(s) on Elshandru Pica [Kay] (16.10.09—16.10.17) The companions are sent on an undercover mission to Elshandru Pica. Zeal gives them cryptic instructions and when they finally arrive, they are surprised to find that while Arkel and Tooey must see to some incidental repairs to their ship, the cover for Bren and Mur is that they are honeymooners staying at Margath’s resort. (Oh that will be a hard role to play!) In between hanging around the pool to wait for their contact, Bren and Murlyn manage take their relationship to a new level while discharging some of the sexual tension that they have been building up. They also encounter a glimpse of the Dark Side on the Drumwalk. But, with the aid of the grove’s guardian spirit, Bren is able to defeat the Dark. Their relationship deepens emotionally as well as physically and the recent brush with the Dark Side reminds Bren that Murlyn’s lack of training makes her especially vulnerable. They work on developing her newfound Jedi skills. Back at their room, Murlyn’s creative view on tipping is making them a popular stop for room service.On day five, their contact finally shows. Sken Keldor is a major flirt and he arranges to meet Murlyn alone to deliver the data. Bren becomes very jealous. He and Mur have a big fight and Mur storms off. Fortunately Bren also show up at the meet, because so do the bad guys. A Sea-Doo and hang glider studded light-fight results in the bad guys’ defeat and Keldor getting wounded. Keldor arranges yet another exchange and all three go to the casino to “win” some money to pay for their expenses. Using the prearranged system, they win the money and exchange the data. However, once they return to their room’s hot tub, Bren and Mur walk into an ambush. Bren uses his lightsaber to


cut through the floor of their balcony and they jump down to the floor below and make their escape. At the spaceport they meet up with Arkel and takeoff with a badly wounded Edelrod Spangle. (See Don’t Bite Off More Than You Can Chew.)

16.10.11 Don’t Bite Off More Than You Can Chew [Mark] (16.10.11—16.10.15) Solo scenario for Arkel on Elshandru Pica. He meets Edelrod Spangle, a modern-day bard, who becomes fascinated with the tale of the adventures of Arkel, the Coynite Prince in exile. Spangle is badly injured by a Houk with a neuronic whip. Arkel kills the Houk in hand-to-hand combat.

16.10.17 Return to Almar Upside with the data16.10 Operation Pitchfork [Mark] The Union Fleet returns to Kidron to attack and destroy the damaged VSD Stalker and

the light cruiser Repulse. The X-Wings of Blue Squadron combine with Paba Nund’s corvette to pull defenders away from the Stalker. Though the Union forces succeed in destroying the Stalker, 3-Flight pilot Cana Roselund’s ship is damaged and she must go EVA. Rijel, through incredible piloting, picks her up but the Habnikav is hit and forced to land. Bren, Arkel, and Mur follow Cana down to keep the TIEs off her. They land and camouflage their X-Wings and meet up with the Rebels on Kidron.

16.10 Heavy Metal [Mark] After meeting up with the Rebels at the end of Operation Pitchfork, Bren, Arkel, Murlyn, and Rijel assist Grinel Dober in recovering some Old Republic AT-PT walkers from Atraken in the Kattelyn system. But Imperial Intelligence has gotten word of that some kind-of secret weapons dump has been discovered. An Imperial agent code-named Steeleye contracts with House Renliss to destroy the weapons before anyone can get them. The payment is sizable and House Renliss has given the Bounty Hunter Janildakara a free hand and a very generous expense account. She has teamed up with Grefnakk, a Gamorrean bounty to stop the heroes. Despite their efforts, the heroes return the AT-PTs to Kidron just in time to use them to thwart an Imperial Assault on Rebel Base Three. The battle is a mecha-like clash of steel monsters and the surprise reinforcements allow the Rebels to defeat Imperial Army Colonel Steiner’s forces and win the day.

16.10.32 Torch: Wings for the Rebellion [Kay] Bren, Murlyn, and Arkel go to Torch to relieve one of the Y-Wing flights. They escort a freighter with supplies. They persuade the freighter to bring Rags so that Bren can pursuade Cynda Tarrick to adopt him. Cynda agrees but insists that Rags have a real name. With Bren’s assistance he chooses the name Zak, which was Bren’s Meristean uncle’s name. Along the way, the companions make an impression on the Y-Wing squadron, discover Three Star Cannon’s wrecked ship, rescue the Caprian Star from a mysterious Vortex and confront the Dark Jedi at its heart. They drive the Dark Jedi off, but do not defeat him.

17.FW Family Ties [Kay] Bren, Murlyn, and Arkel help capture an Imperial heavy corvette that strayed into the system. Bren uncovers Adam has an Imperial com unit and forces/persuades Adam to reveal that Compnor has his fiancee Aemilla and is threatening her to force Adam to reveal the location of the Rebels. Bren and Arkel accompany the Tarrick siblings back to Treacus to rescue Adam’s fiancee. The heroes cooperate with Lady Vestana Orlando in the rescue of Aemilla and a number of other prisoners. They also capture Governor Elkin of Treacus.

17.01 Love Is A Battlefield [Mark] (Episode I — Hell is for Children) Tora descends into the darkness of alcoholism, depression, and anger. She meets Jarno, a kind, old man who speaks to her about the possibilities of hope and redemption. Meanwhile, agents of Inquisitor Tremayne hunt down, kidnap, and torture her friends. Bren, after Tora refuses to help, tries to free the prisoners on his own, but instead is captured by the Inquisitor’s Srrors’tok retainer.Love Is A Battlefield [Mark] (Episode II — Outlaw Blues) Maris and Deklin capture Michael, an operative from Section. Maris slices a datadisk that shows Section “bloodhounds” are hunting Tora Jesek at the direct command of an Inquisitor. Maris discovers that Rusty the droid is broadcasting their location to Section. They disable Rusty, pick up Darien, and head for the site of Section’s next operation to try to warn Tora. They witness Zoe Radell’s kidnapping and Maris sees Bren’s capture.Love Is A Battlefield [Mark] (Episode III — Shadows of the Night) Maris finds Tora and tells her that Darien is here. That night, Tora has several insightful visions. She goes to meet Darien, but first encounters an angry Murlyn demanding help in rescuing Bren. Tora, Darien, Maris, Deklin, and Murlyn join forces to rescue Bren and the other captives from Kujac the Hutt’s palace on Azrael. They are accompanied by Jarno.

17.01.30 Love Is A Battlefield [Mark] (Episode IV — Heartbreaker) On Azrael, the heroes confront both Kujac the Hutt and Inquistor Tremayne. Tremayne turns out to be Ton Faellon, Tora’s first love and Jarno is his father. Tremayne kills his own father (stopping his heart) and tries to tempt Tora to the Dark Side. They duel while Maris frees Bren and Deklin battles Grea the Orfite, the premier bounty hunter in Elrood Sector. Tora master’s her anger but she has not regained her full strength after turning away from the Dark Side and cannot defeat Tremayne. Trying to save Darien, Tora finally unlocks her suppressed Alter ability. But, Tremayne captures her lightsaber. Before he can strike, Bren attacks with the Force and severs Tremayne’s right arm. Darien grabs Tora’s light saber from Tremayne’s severed hand and tosses it to Tora. Faced with both Tora and Bren, Tremayne flees. Telling Tora “I still love you” and Bren “Until next time, young Jedi.” Deklin persuades Gorre the Trandoshan (acting as one of Kujac’s guards) to let the heroes go, but the players lose L-3PO the droid to Kujac.


17.01.30 The Family Way [Mark] (17.01-17.02) This covers the after effects of the previous scenario, Love Is A Battlefield. Tora tells Darien that she is pregnant with twins. Zoe Radell is returned to Elrood, but her father Brem fears for her safety. Bren offers to take her and her cousin Alia Dashire to Torch, “a place where she will be safe.” The families will pretend that the girls were never rescued. Brem Radell agrees to find jobs and homes for the miners (and children) from Grelldine and he will arrange for the Union to “steal” a Radell Mining Bulk Cruiser. Tora, Darien, the Hodins Laxia and Taroo, and Nara the Force Sensitive artist child go to live on a farm on Merisee. The Zincan Black Mountain villagers will be given a place in the mountains of Merisee to establish a new village.

17.02 The Talk of Union [Kay]. Bren and Murlyn sit in on the talks that form the Union of Free Planets. At the meeting are General Brolis (Free Army of Carillon), Niles Wuxod (Friends of Paran), Commodore Paba Nund (Kidron Defense Force), CarJo Nor (Cult of Those Who Redeem), and Keftar Solarin, (Windover Guardians). They meet Niles Wuxod, leader of the rebels on Derilyn as well as Mon Mothma. Bren rescues Mon Mothma from a plot by Shadow. Shadow is the Dark Jedi encountered in the Vortex in Torch: Wings for the Rebellion. Bren is the first recipient of the newly created medal, the Wings of Freedom.Event: Forces on Elrood are recruited to join the Union. These forces include: the Elrood Liberation Front (a group of anarchist slicers and commtechs on the planet Elrood), Brem Radell of Radell Mining (see The Family Way), and a small group of urban terrorists from lower-class Elrooden Urban Monads (UrbMons).

17.03 How Angel Squadron Got Its Name [Kay]. Three-flight gets grounded but flies anyway to help the other squadrons out of an ambush at Stend VI. Raven’s ship is crippled and Bren, Murlyn, and Arkel stay behind to rescue her. On Stend the heroes make contact with the Knights, a swoop gang. Bren meets Blizz Pinnex, the Raptor Rider and Mirage, an undercover Sector Ranger. Meanwhile, Murlyn and Sil Vaturha (a Twilek female) are forced into indentured service to Nakuda a Herglic crimelord. To save Murlyn and the other techs, Arkel battles Chugg, the crimelord’s huge henchman. Despite being mortally wounded, Arkel kills Chugg with his own vibroblade. Bren uses the Force to prevent Arkel from passing through the Gate (of Death). Bren wins a swoop race to earn the money to pay for the parts they need to fix Raven’s X-Wing.Angel’s Revenge [Mark]. A follow-up scenario to How Angel Squadron Got Its Name. Logan must rally the surviving fighters and lead them back to Stend VI to hit back at the Imperials in response to the earlier Imperial ambush. Logan musters the largest possible force of starfighters and ground troops. The X-Wings make a canyon run on the power conduit for the Base’s shield generator so that the Y-Wings can bomb the Imperial Base. Raven and Logan face Commander Larjen, an Ace Imperial TIE pilot.Salvage [Mark]. Back at the base on Sidron, Avril wins money from the other pilots playing Sabacc, then gets a reprimand in her file for slicing into the Sidron computer to find out who beat her so badly in the simulator. The damage to the ships after the two Stend missions has used up critical spare parts. To get replacements, Caleb, Avril, and Murlyn are sent to Korad to salvage parts. On Korad they encounter “Michael,” the Section operative stranded on Korad by Deklin and Maris in Love is a Battlefield: Episode II – Outlaw Blues. Michael stabs Murlyn in the leg with an improvised spear and Calib uses a Force point while brawling and kills Michael by kicking him onto some sharp wreckage. Meanwhile, Bren makes a short side trip to Merisee to help Nara.

17.04 A Ship, a Captain, and Revenge [Kay] Calib, Avril, Murlyn, and Tooey help Tanar Radell to “steal” a Radell Mining Bulk Cruiser for the Union forces. Meanwhile Bren and Arkel travel to Alderaan with Commander Logan and Major Connal to return “3 Star” Cannon’s box to Senator Bail Organa and to recruit retired Navy Captain Chaim Martel to be the captain of the Bulk Cruiser as the new Union flagship. Bren and Arkel briefly meet the new Senator from Alderaan, young Leia Organa.Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner [Kay] Blue Squadron travel to the planet Ralianos. There Calib saves Rani Tita, the young leader of the planet Ralianos from an attempt on her life. Then Union Forces have to help defend the planet from attack by an Imperial Torpedo Sphere.

17.05 Raid on Berea [Kay]. Union forces attack the Imperial Mining colony on Berea, liberating the enslaved miners and capturing several Imperial Mining ships for the Union Fleet. In the attack, Major Connal must fight a power armored Coynite; Captain Tegrin must battle a Coynite in hand-to-hand combat; Arkel kills a Nel Vatek warrior; and Bren faces one of the Chosen named Flame. Bren is clearly outmatched. Flashblinded and charred he drops his lightsaber. Arkel tries to intervene and is TK slammed into a wall then pincushioned with wreckage. Although nearly defeated, Bren does not succumb to despair. He and Mur lifebond so that he can use her eyes to see. He uses his last Force point to TK his lightsaber back, surprising Flame and wounding him. This causes a moment of doubt for Flame and then they are separated as the explosive charges blow in sequence. Mur and Calib help Bren and Arkel to the ships. In the confusion, Flame escapes.


AWOL [Kay]. Nutras gets a plea for help from his old girlfriend Jesse. He goes AWOL to help her; Bren and Mur follow to help him and bring him back. On Torina the heroes find a resurrected Bloody Skulls biker gang working for Malik Mays in a outlying city. The Skulls have captured Nutras. Bren and Mur break in to rescue him. On the way out, they run into Mays with Jesse. Mays blames Jesse for the assault on his stronghold and threatens to kill her. Bren manages to knock her out of the line of fire and Murlyn blasts Mays before he can shoot Bren in the back. The heroes escape in a getaway speeder driven by Saban as Laon Murfi leads the PDF in a roundup of the gang – Bren and Mur cleverly called Murfi just before breaking into the stronghold so the PDF would be available as backup. While on Torina, Bren has another dream about the Tower of Naming and realizes that was where Bindor Teegs (the Imperial spy) had hidden his information. Bren, Mur, Tooey, Nutras, and Jesse foil Teeg’s death traps and recover the data. The heroes detour to Almar to turn the data in to Zeal and to let him interview Jesse. The rest of them return to the Aegis where Nutras is formally reprimanded.The Eye of Soreth [Kay] Bren and Arkel explore a planet on the edge of the Degan Gas Clouds. Arkel is wounded by scary ShadowSpiders and while acting under the Queen ShadowSpider’s telepathic influence Arkel travels to a planet deep inside the Degan Gas Clouds. Bren follows and discovers a graveyard of ships left by the ShadowSpiders’ earlier victims. He speaks to the Queen and learns that the HiveShip was disabled and stranded by the Jedi Soreth who removed its master control key (the Eye of Soreth). Bren refuses to return to key and must then battle the ShadowSpiders to free Arkel. Together the pair fight their way out of the Hiveship. Bren, somewhat reluctantly, kills the Queen, dooming the Hive to eventual death.

17.06 The Crystals of Carosi [Mark] This scenario occurs at the same time as Skein of Destiny. As Tora and Darien begin to settle into their new life with the Redeemers on Merisee disaster threatens and they must find a cure for the mysterious plague that is sweeping across Merisee. They journey to the planet Carosi. They discover that the Crystals of Carosi are rumored to aid in Force Healing. But the Carosi government is in the midst of a heated political debate and election. Tora and Darien save Omo Taj, leader of the Sodality party, from an assassin and help elect him Prime Minister. He agrees to send aid to Merisee. Tora returns with the last of the Crystals of Carosi. She returns to the Temple of the Redeemers and uses the Crystals in a massive healing that sweeps across Merisee, eliminating the plague. The power of the healing burns out all but one of the Crystals and induces Tora’s labor.Skein of Destiny [Mark and Kay alternating]. (Chapter I — Special Pickup) [Mark] Mouse and Montoya agree to make a special pickup in the Janos Belt system in return for a black-market cargo of concussion missiles. When they arrive they witness the complete obliteration of a large asteroid. They manage to rescue their badly injured passenger and his R1 droid from an escape pod. They are chased by TIE fighters which they destroy and a huge Imperial Star Destroyer which they evade. Once in hyperspace, the dying man pleads with them to “get the data to Zeal!” Mouse and Montoya make contact via a secured holochannel. Zeal turns out to be a sensor masked and voice scrambled being. He/she/it instructs them to name a contact point. They choose the resort planet of Venezia—“after all we deserve a vacation.” Zeal instructs them to take the midday canal tour and wait for someone to contact them.Skein of Destiny (Chapter II — First Contact) [Kay] Bren and Mur are on a long-range scouting mission in Thuris Sector. In system T22-14 they encounter 3 TIE fighters chasing 2 alien starfighters. The Imps destroy one alien ship and damage the other. The heroes blast the TIEs. The surviving alien starfighter crash lands; Bren and Mur follow to investigate. They reach the alien ship, but are surrounded by a crowd of red-eyed spear-armed bat-winged aliens. They take the pair to the dying alien pilot. Bren senses <Ralnai…A warrior…Duty…Ended>. The heroes learn the Bat-Winged aliens are called the Goth. An Imperial shuttle lands and attacks the Goths. The heroes help the aliends; capture the shuttle; and follow it back to an Imperial listening post which the heroes also capture, along with an Imperial Intel Agent. Bren and Mur return to Almar Station with their prisoner.Skein of Destiny (Chapter III — Secret Mission) [Mark] Maris, Deklin, and Voren Na’al are on a rogue mission to find out who or what Moff Sakai of Thuris Sector is at war with. They travel to Torina to consult Regula Collingwood the infochant. While there, they foil a Loaggi assassination attempt against Eli-Zah. In the attack Saban, is poisoned and hospitalized. (Hela Narconis hired the Loaggi.) Collingwood’s information leads them to infiltrate the Moff’s palace on Thuria. Maris hacks into the Moff’s computer and gets info on the Ralnai and the Moff’s secret weapon, the Nova Gun. But Maris is caught by Inquisitor Tremayne. Maris realizes that Tremayne is reading her mind and that the mission, and more importantly Deklin, are in danger. She tells her companions to run, telling Deklin she will be right behind him, then as a distraction she uses her last Force point to attack and wound Tremayne. In retaliation, his bodyguard Rahnma kills Maris. Deklin and Voren escape to a Rebel Safe House.Skein of Destiny (Chapter IV — Night of Masks) [Kay] Bren and Mur go undercover as a swoop racing team competing in the Venezia Canal Races. They must win, place, or show so that they will be invited to the exclusive Night of Masks Ball where they are to meet their contact and get the information. They meet Mouse and Montoya (their contacts) and end up fleeing Venezia with them, bad guys in pursuit. They set a course for a Rebel Safe House in Thuris Sector.


Skein of Destiny (Chapter V — Deadly Secrets) [Mark] Bren, Mur, Mouse, and Montoya meet up with Deklin and Voren Na’al at the Safe House. The group exchanges information and decides to warn the Five Suns League about the impending attack by Moff Sakai using his new super-weapon, the Nova Gun. On the way, their ship is shot down in the Azrael System. They are pursued by several TIE fighters, but use anti-ship fire from Kujac’s Palace to escape most of the pursuers. The last pair of TIEs has the Argo locked in their sights, when the TIE’s are blown up by an X-Wing flown by Arkel. All land to make repairs, but they are captured by the Sludir crimelord Quanza Ironhoof. Arkel battles Quanza in single combat to win the group’s freedom. Skein of Destiny (Chapter VI — Flame of Battle) [Mark] The Union forces form a battle plan and decide to come to the aid of the Five Suns League and destroy the Nova Gun. The Rebels arrival surprises the Imps and the battle is a severe defeat for Moff Sakai’s forces. In addition to the destruction of the Nova Gun, the Imperials lose 1 heavy cruiser, 7 light cruisers, 6 frigates, 1 gunship, 1 TIE escort carrier, and 15 squadrons of TIEs destroyed, disabled, or captured. The victory is not without its price – among others, Angel Squadron loses Dunn s’Re.Skein of Destiny (Chapter VII — Language of Diplomacy) [Mark] This chapter wraps up the events of the scenario. Mouse and Montoya are given the Star of Ralnai by the Five Suns League, but they plan to escape before anyone can make them into diplomats or rebels. The Union forms an alliance with the Five Suns League.

17.FS New Beginnings [Mark] A series of vignettes. Jedi Birth: Tora and Darien’s twins are born see the Prophecy of the Star Twins. A New Life: Nutras’ punishment for AWOL should be resolved by now. Jesse joins the rebellion as an undercover operative for Zeal. Nutras and Jesse announce their engagement and Angel Squadron throws them a party. Bren learns that Coynite marriages are arranged and that technically he should arrange any marriage for Arkel. A New Wind: The Island of the Winds on Osirrag — A small cowled figure watches a Dragon fly over a rocky, wind-swept valley. The Union Carrier Aegis — Bren sees a Dragon out the view port of the ship. Mur has to pull him back as they are about to toast the happy couple. On Sidron — A small girl looks up, then pan to Vistar by a fire as a dark dragon shape occludes the stars. Vistar then turns to finish blessing the next group of Zahadeem. New Learning: Tora gets a group of students (Ara s’Laq, VigLan Tig, JoTu Quar, Dunn s’Qaw, NinTu Le, Nara, Dr. Ob Momar and several unnamed Meris and Teltior youths encouraged by their parents) who want to study the Jedi ways and learn about the Force. Some may even be Force Sensitive. The Redeemer Military Forces ask Tora to lecture to the officer candidates. Zahadeem: — The first Death Commando squads arrive at Almar Upside. A Speedy Departure: Mouse finishes the modifications to a military grade x1 hyperdrive. The modifications raise it to x.75, nearly as fast as Solo’s Millenium Falcon. Mouse and Montoya depart this region of space. Promotions, Awards, and Memories: With Logan’s increased duties as Wing Commander (and Neal leaving) Angel Squadron needs a new CO. Raven is promoted to Squadron Captain and Bren is made XO. Bren, Mur, Arkel, and Deklin are awarded Silver Stars (StarFighter Command), Voren Na’al gets a promotion and a Black Star (Intelligence), Maris is posthumously awarded the Wings of Freedom. Bren organizes a wreath burning ceremony for Maris on Almar Downside (inviting Deklin, Mur, and Arkel who come and Zeal who doesn’t make it). The New Fleet Is Unveiled: Christening of the captured Imperial Mining ships, coincides with the arrival of 3 new Redeemer Prosperity-class corvettes, and the first X-Wing fighters roll off the production lines. A dark echo to this is the arrival in Thuris Sector of new Imperial reinforcements to deal with the war with the Five Suns League as well as the rebels in Thuris and Elrood sectors. A new (scary) fleet admiral is in charge.

17.07 The Cut of the Cloth [Kay] Bren, Mur, Arkel, Tooey, Deklin, Sil Vaturha, Sgt. Bracken, and Trooper Chase travel to Celanon to steal new uniforms for the Union forces. On Celanon they reencounter Flond, the Nalroni spy. During the mission they manage to save Flond, who now owes Bren. Murlyn manages some personal style changes to Angel Squadron’s uniforms: tight blue flight suits with a front zipper/seal and tailored black leather flight jackets.Old Friends, New Agendas [Kay] Bren and Mur travel to Lanthrym on a mission. While there Bren sees a lot of familiar people and finds out that 1) Captain Tanda Pryll looks a lot like a blond Tora Jesek and 2) Rafe Cloudman is Vaun Kleef’s younger brother. Rafe trys to kill Kleef, but Kleef is faster and better. He badly wounds Cloudman, but doesn’t want to kill him.Ancient Steel [Mark] (verify estimated date with Kay) In quest of a legendary Coynite artifact, the Shaa’Sat’Skar or Windsword, Voren Na’al and Arkel first travel to the Great Library of Ropagi, where they uncover the Disk of D’NDAR, then to the Hall of Records on Coyn, and finally to the last known location of the sword, the planet where the son and heir of Toral I died. Along the way they must solve the puzzle of the sword’s location, win the trust of the Parrs’Terek’Mar, a fanatic sect of ultra-conservative Coynites, and cooperate with them to thwart both COMPNOR and the na’raisa. Once the heroes recover the sword, they give it to Clan Muls’Rak for safe keeping (which has the effect of strengthening an outwardly neutral but actually pro-Rebel clan).Kidnapped [Mark] Episode I — Celebration: Tora and Darien’s wedding and the twins’ naming day ends with the twins being kidnapped by Loaggi assassins. One of Tora’s guards, Va s’Laq (sister to An s’Laq of the Lame Duck), is killed in a speeder-bomb explosion as she tries to comm for help. Episode II — Pursuit: Led by Tora and Darien, a group of the guests (including Bren, Mur, Arkel, Deklin, and Grakkatta) set out in Darien’s new sailing ship after the kidnappers. All Darien’s skill is needed to sail his trusty ship through a Merisean storm. Episode III — Rescue: Tora confronts the Dark Master and the heroes succeed in recovering the twins.


A Light in the Shadows [Kay] Bren gets a new teacher. Dar is a clone of Shadow, designation Three. Dar’s knowledge of his past and of the Force is only partial and, unlike his creator, he has not turned to the Dark Side.

17.08 The Fall of Almar Station [Kay] The Imperials set an ambush to trap the Union fleet. Using the new Thuris Fleet to cover Thuris Sector, Tremayne takes a large portion of Thuris’ original fleet combined with Elrood Sector’s forces to trap the Union Fleet at Almar. The Union fleet evacuates Almar Station and executes a fighting withdrawal via a back route to Parmel Sector.Extenuating Circumstances: Return to Stend [Kay] Bren, Paloma, and Booster volunteer for a mission to Stend. Bren learns that Bliz Pinnex’s bike, The Raptor, contains a Force imbued object that may have been created by Pinnex’s grandfather who was a Jedi.A Light in the Darkness [Kay] Dar is introduced to Mur and Arkel. Bren studies with his new teacher and together they turn Shadow’s globe from the darkness. Dar shatters the globe revealing a perfect green crystal. “Out of Darkness comes Light.”For Whom We Speak [Kay] Bren and Arkel travel to Farstine Station and encounter the T’Ching x 4 Cha, a race of methane breathers. Their speaker is actually a group entity and it is in some sense, Force Sensitive. Bren recovers and returns their missing Oracle, an infinity-symbol composed of two gray and pink orbs joined together. In the recovery, he defeats a Crimson Guard and battle-challenges and defeats three Coynite Nel Vatek warriors.

17.09 New Blood [Kay] New pilots join Angel squadron. The pilots include Ashley, Riot an ex-Imperial TIE pilot (Jon D.), and Haylee Mas, a Twilek female who wants off of Farstine Station (Jason).Winter Fantasy [Kay] Bren and Murlyn are sent undercover to the Winter Games on Snefran IV. They are to try to contact Pratori Cinn, the Twilek black marketeer and arms merchant. They succeed by saving Clanel Vrees, the nephew of Pratori Cinn. In the process, they recruit Polar Rubal (a Wild Healer from another sector) and Dale Russman (the nephew of Kina Margath) to the Rebellion.Glimpses of Destiny [Kay] Glimpses of the future occur throughout this scenario by both Bren and Dar. Prompted by danger to Murlyn and visions of the future, Bren and Dar discover and investigate a Sith temple that is the source of some of Shadow’s dark knowledge. There are further hints of connections between Bren, Shadow, and Dar. Bren and Dar are able to resist the Dark Side’s temptation and learn that this site poses a danger in the future. They convince the General to use the Union Fleet to destroy the temple before it can be used further by Shadow. Bren uses lifesense to find a wounded and missing Raven.Recon [Mark] First full scenario for Commander Harmony M’Klane of the Union Corvette, Light of Freedom this occurs at the same time as Glimpses of Destiny. Arkel and Calib fly escort and CSP in their X-Wings. Despite heavy damage and casualties to her ship, Cmdr. M’Klane defeats an Imperial force equal in numbers but with a newer, stronger corvette. In the aftermath, the Light of Freedom lands at Ombra Shadowport to make repairs. While there, she hires Nkik the Jawa, as a replacement engineer as well as the Gungan JoMo Quix and some other crew.

17.10.01 Small Investment, Large Return [Kay] Coming to Light: Zeal is found to be acting as a traitor (confirmed by Bren’s receptive telepathy) and is placed in detention. Bren, Mur, Arkel, and Tooey are sent on an intelligence mission to Vohai. They are to travel on Senator Pym’s political train and await contact once the train reaches the station. Countdown to Disaster: The wait is anything but simple as they have to foil a mad bombers attack on the train. Despite the train’s dramatic collision with the train station, they save many lives and barely manage to avoid being the NewsNet celebrities of the week. They are assisted by Des Samuel (an agent of Mon Mothma) and Sella Marik (Galaxy-9 NewsNet reporter). After the wreck, they finally meet their contact. It is Jesse, Nutras’ fiancée. She has information about an Imperial payroll that will be here in 2 days. The Fleet needs this money. The Investment Pays Off: Bren impersonates an Imperial Inquisitor so that they can infiltrate the Moff’s Palace and steal the payroll. In the process, they also rescue Princess Aurora of Aris V who has been held as a hostage by the Moff.Repairing the Situation [Mark] Occurs at the same time as Small Investment, Large Return. The Light of Freedom continues patrolling and discovers that the Rebels aren’t the Empire’s only problem. There are vicious pirates operating in Parmel Sector. On Returning to the Fleet, the Freedom is assigned to assist one of the refugee transports, the Argent Lady. Engineers from the Freedom assist in effecting repairs to the Lady and, in the process, M’Klane discovers all is not well or efficient in the Fleet. The Freedom’s successes have earned her crew some leave, and M’Klane and several crewmembers head to Down Time to relax. Due to a case of mistaken identity, M’Klane briefly meets Bren, Mur, and Arkel and learns a bit more about Coynites. Her learning continues as she has to stop a huge barfight involving As’Rais. The crew returns to their ship as the Fleet prepares to jump. The Argent Lady loses maneuvering thrusters and the Light of Freedom stays to assist and protect while repairs are made. In the interim, they are engaged by a pair of Skipray Blastboats. M’Klane uses the Argent Lady to hide her ship so that she can surprise and defeat the Blastboats. After rejoining the Fleet, M’Klane is asked to explain her idea for greater utilization of refugee personnel and transport resources to the General. He decides she should put her ideas to the test. Her proposal is to use the Light of Freedom, Maris Devant, Argent Lady, and another transport in a pilot resource-sharing program.


17.10.06 One Big Happy Fleet [Mark] M’Klane and the Light of Freedom as well as Deklin & the Lame Duck. The Light of Freedom implements M’Klane’s resource-sharing program and must simultaneously ride herd on the civilian ships. As the Freedom interacts with other ships, M’Klane realizes that the refugees have skills and willing hands that the fleet needs and that these skills could be included in her resource-sharing program.

17.10.08 Accusations and Negotiations [Kay] Bren, Mur, Arkel, Jesse, and Tooey turn over the Princess Aurora and the 20 million credit payroll to the General. While they were gone, Raven has been accused of treason. With Nutras’ help, they find evidence that the flight logs have been altered and clear her and Bren learns from Dar, that Zeal is not really guilty either. It is all part of an attempt to smoke out the real traitor in the Fleet. Bren and Arkel are sent to fly escort for Deklin’s ship, the Lame Duck, carrying Voren Na’al and 7 million credits to a negotiation with Pratori Cinn. Na’al will have to negotiate since the General’s aide, Capt. Aldrus, has just been poisoned. On the way, bombs planted in the X-Wings nearly take out the pilots, Bren has to contact Mur to save Dar who has been poisoned and the two guards on Deklin’s ship shoot him and try to take over the ship. The guards are foiled by his crewperson, An s’Laq. It seems the real traitor(s) don’t want this mission to succeed. With the help of Bren’s Jedi powers, Na’al concludes a bargain with Cinn. The PCs conceive of a plan to play dead and to send only Bren back. He will use his Jedi powers to simulate a coma, trying to lure the traitor into finishing him off before he can regain consciousness and reveal the traitor. (Using your basic holovid Diagnosis Murder-style plot.)

17.10.13 Changes in Pressure [Mark] One of the passengers on the Argent Lady is actually a Whippid bounty hunter. He threatens An s’Laq and tries to hijack the Lame Duck as part of his plan to capture Deklin. But Deklin foils the would-be hijacker.After foiling an attempt by a bounty hunter to capture Deklin and hijack his ship, the Lame Duck heads to the Hot Landing cantina to find the location of a Shadowport that the Fleet can use for much needed repairs and information on security at the Ord Parmel depot. [Scenario never fully played out.]

17.10.14 Prodigal Daughter [Kay] Bren & Arkel return Princess Aurora to the planet Aris. We meet Talamin Nekaro, a handsome, blond, pirate captain in his early 20’s. He and Aurora are in love, but (of course) her family does not approve. Aurora thinks Talamin is a hero, Bren is not so sure and asks him, “So are you a hero or pirate.” Queen Aurelia is the ruler of Aris, Norska is the Queen’s consort and father of her youngest two children. The children: Princess Aurora—blond age 16, Prince Abron—blond age 15, Prince Alabar—dark age 5, and Princess Alana—dark age 3. Bren, Arkel, and Talamin, must foil a plot by Counselor Evitt and Prince Abron to kidnap Princess Aurora and return her to the Imperials. Bren and Arkel are inducted into the Order of the Silver Rose complete with flashy medallions. For now, Talamin will hide Princess Aurora from the Imperials.

17.10.19 Heavy Ordinance [Mark] Voren Na’al (CO), Deklin, Murlyn Tarrick travel with M’Klane on the Light of Freedom on an acquisition mission to obtain much needed munitions for the fleet. The Freedom carries the heroes to the drop zone. Dropped in an escape pod from the Light of Freedom, they infiltrate the munitions depot on Ord Parmel, slice into the computer core, and hijack a pod carrier loaded with concussion missiles.

17.10.23 What Lies Beneath [Mark] M’Klane & the crew of the Light of Freedom, assisted by Kheldar the Nalroni and Murlyn Tarrick, investigate Starlyte Station’s suitability as a repair and refit point for the Fleet and make a deal with the wily Tallandro Starlyte to allow the Fleet to use the station safely.

17.10 Duel of the Fates [Kay] Among other bits of unfinished business, Bren, Mur, & Arkel avoid a bounty hunter ambush and help contain a riot, then Mur (with the Affect Mind-coerced help of Nkik) diffuses a bomb while Bren rescue M’Klane from Major Marr of the Emperor’s Own. Marr is a very tough opponent. He manages to block a lightsaber strike (by grabbing Bren’s wrists) and later is only wounded by a FP enhanced 10D damage hit. M’Klane sends the squadron a keg of quality lomin ale in thanks.Shadow’s ship arrives at Starlyte Station. Unbeknownst to Shadow Bren, Murlyn, Arkel, & Tooey destroy Shadow’s ship by wiring it with thermal detonators and a timer before Bren takes control of the ship and sends it into jump. Meanwhile, Shadow confronts Dar. Shadow threatens Dr. Jevara Mays and reveals she is pregnant with Dar’s child. Dar and Shadow fight, Dar gives up his life (a la Obi Wan Kenobi) saying, “You will never possess me, Vordarrion Hawkwind.” This triggers a Force Scream from Shadow, Roubal physically shields Jevara and both are badly injured. Shadow advances to confront Bren. “Join me. Together we can defeat Vader and in time, the Emperor himself.” Bren uses Force of Will (and a FP) to resist his father’s Affect Mind. Bren uses the Force, telling Shadow “I will never turn.” He tells Shadow his ship has been destroyed and that the “Light is stronger than the Darkness.” This causes a moment of doubt. As Murlyn and Arkel open fire on Shadow with blaster rifles, he reconsiders his position and retreats.

17.10.33 Withdrawl from Starlyte Station [Kay] This scenario begins with Bren assessing what he has learned, e.g. Shadow was once Bren’s father, Vordarrion Hawkwind. The pesky bounty hunters from the previous scenario return and try to ambush Murlyn, they are again foiled. Before dying one reveals “Lanthrym…contract.” Little time has passed since Duel of the Fates and the Fleet is surprised by an Imperial fleet. The T’Qng, a Redeemer corvette commanded by Captain HasGar Nor (CarJo Nor’s nephew), is suddenly destroyed by the Victory II Yamato’s massed turbolaser fire with all hands lost. Many ships are lost before the Fleet can scatter and jump to safety.


17.10.35 Pirates of Parmel [Mark] M’Klane & the Light of Freedom lead a rag-tag Task Force of fleeing ships. While waiting for other refugees to arrive at a designated rendezvous location they witness a transport with a single Y-Wing escort get ambushed by the pirate, Garvan Red-Eye. The pirates escapte with their booty before the Freedom can get in range. When they board the damaged transport, they discover a crate with critical nav-data containing the rendezvous coordinates for the Fleet was in the cargo the pirates have looted. The Freedom must track the pirates to their base and recover the nav-disk before the pirates can discover it.

17.10 EVENT: Meanwhile, back in Elrood Sector, Union forces smuggle an 150 Ion Cannon and a fortress-sized shield generator onto Derilyn.

18.FW Happy New Year [Kay] This scenario has a montage of activity as the scattered ships of the Fleet gather after the retreat from Starlyte Station. Bren is asked by the Redeemers to speak to their assembled crews about the loss of the T’Qng. He speaks about the choice that the Light demands: “What will you choose?” With all the losses that have been sufferred the Fleet is not in much of a mood to celebrate, but the General speaks to the Fleet telling them, “We have something to celebrate…we’re alive.”

18.01 Rebel Council [Mark] Meanwhile back in Elrood Sector the Rebellion is in disarray. Tora Jesek and the remaining Rebels hold a council on Lanthrym to decide on a unified strategy of how to proceed without the General or the Union Fleet. In addition to Tora the Council consists of Keftar Solarin of Windover as the host; CarJo Nor represents the Redeemers; Jorg Rodan represents the Friends of Paran; Lt. Cmdr. Carl Tiis represents the KDF; a Sidroni war leader represents the tribes; Brem Radell represents Radell Mining; Saban, wearing an Orfite power harness, represents Eli Zah and Benelec.

18.01.01 Here There Be Gremlins [Mark 08-Sep-01] Voren Na’al, M’Klane, & the Light of Freedom respond to the independent Baris colony’s distress call. They must solve the mystery of the tech failures before they can spread and disable the Light of Freedom. The failures are caused by power-draining alien nanotechnology uncovered in a nearby ancient ruin. To stop the tech failures the heroes detect and shut off the UHF binary overchannel that controls the alien nanites.

18.01.04 Hazardous Prospects [Mark 22-Sep-01] As they return from Baris colony, Na’al, M’Klane, & the Light of Freedom rescue Drexo Lars, an old prospector, and his ancient Starcab, from a pair of Imperial Blastboats. Concerned about an Imperial patrol so near the Fleet, they persuade Lars to take them back to Beta Hexor VII, a Karflo Corporation mining colony. They discover the Imperials are there to put down a “slave” rebellion by the native population. They get copies of Lars’ jump coordinate maps of the Drift.

18.01.05 Conversations [Kay 20-Oct-01] Not a scenario per se, just talking out and dealing with loose ends. Bren realizes that he understands Dar’s sacrifice. Dar gave his life to trigger Shadow’s anger/Force Scream to create a chance to save Jevara and their unborn son. He relied on Roubal to save them. Bren shares this insight with a morose Roubal which turns his view of the encounter and his part in it upside-down.

18.01.09 A Tightening Grip: Part I [Mark 06-Oct-01] The regathered Fleet is being shadowed by a pair of Imperial Warspite-class frigates. Some starfighter duty for Arkel. This scenario sets up the mission in Part II and does the initial planning.The Dirty Dozen [Kay 27-Oct-01] The Lame Duck transports Bren and a team of misfits (two Zahadeem Death Commando teams and three old friends from Boot Camp, Salazar Zinn, Skip Tracer, and Tervo Spade) to Beta Hexor VII. They are to contact the natives and Bren is to determine if it is possible for the team to train and arm the natives to resist the Imperials. Bren will need to choose a CO for the team. The rest of the team will remain after the Fleet leaves.

18.01.11 A Tightening Grip: Part II [Mark] Two teams are sent to covertly board the Imperial Warspite-class Frigate Discordia while she is temporarily disabled. Once aboard, you will divide into two teams. Team 1: Capt. Voren Na’al, Lt. Foress Mawr, Deklin StarRider, Sgt. Toz Bracken, Corporal Zane, Lt. Jen Storn and Team 2: Major Connal, Lt. Bren Fairchilde, Corporal Zane, & Trooper Akeo Danyr board the Warspite Frigate Eris. Team 1 commandeers the Eris’ auxiliary bridge and steals the fleet patrol schedule and navigation data. Team 2 sabotages the Eris’ hyperspace engines so it cannot follow the Fleet when it jumps.

18.01.16 We Honor the Jedi [Kay 01-Dec-01] Short scenario directly following A Tightening Grip: Part II and wrapping up loose ends. (i) Dr. Jevara Mays has a Redeemer bodyguard; (ii) the Redeemers host a memorial service for Dar at which his spirit appears, speaks to the Redeemers and, with Bren’s help, Dar embues Jevara’s medallion with the Force; (iii) Bren must stop weird Force-eating energy beings from attacking the Fleet; and (iv) at Mur’s insistence, Bren tries to help free Akeo from the Brig. She is courtmartialled, but she is remanded into M’Klane’s custody as an engineer.


18.01.21 Wheel of Power – Part I Override [Kay 27-Jan-02] Bren, Murlyn, and Arkel’s band (Laser Blast) are performing at Down Below when there is a huge explosion and a rippling power surge threatens to short out the forcefield holding the air in and the fantastic view outside. The heroes must manually close the bay door. Up on the liner’s bridge there is dire news: a second blast has destabilized the hyperdrive, and the engines might explode at any minute. Captain Martel marshals a Fleet response to the unknown attack from a nearby moon, which includes using the Light of Freedom as a physical shield for the failing Liner. Bren, Murlyn and Arkel rush to Engineering, where they find the most of the crew unconscious or wounded and unable to complete the engine shutdown. With Mur fighting for control of the runaway system, it is up to Bren and Arkel to bleed off the tremendous power to avoid a disastrous explosion. There are power cables on the deck, so it’s “One, two, three” The pair is engulfed in weird blue arcs of power; they are damaged but the pair succeeds in bleeding off enough excess power to avoid an power core overload. Then its Fairchild and Arkel drinking shakes with bandaged hands while recovering, but the liner is saved!

18.01.22 Wheel of Power – Part II Perception [Kay 02-Feb-02] The Light of Freedom silenced the guns on the moon, and no more attacks are made on the Fleet, but Martel is not happy to discover that the hidden installation dates to before the discovery of Elrood Sector itself. Bren, Tooey, Deklin, An s’Laq, Mallory Gray (the cyborged tech from Martel’s bridge) and some extra support are sent to investigate. They find a landing bay and a small control room, where Tooey jacks into the system and Mallory engages through Tooey’s link. Bren explores the remainder of the station and gets a call from Na’al that Mur will be joining him. When Mur appears and wants to make up for lost time, it is easy for Bren to fall into the trap. It takes Deklin, who has been tempted with a vision of Maris, to break Bren loose, getting himself shocked unconscious in the process. Realizing the danger, Bren hurries back to the control room, where Tooey whistles in distress that he has been locked into the system: if he withdraws, a surge of power will destroy his circuits and kill Mallory. Mallory now wears a black ring around one finger, a ring that binds her to Lorivar, the last of the three Jedi essences bound in this place. Bren and Mallory must make a journey of the mind to climb to the volcano (a metaphor for the installation’s power source) and throw the ring into the fire. Along the way there are many dangers, where Bren calls on Arkel and Mallory calls on a jegget, in a mythic quest as good as any Thrilling Wonder Talking Book. Mallory and Tooey gain their freedom and all depart, with An using a force point to fly the Lame Duck back to the Fleet. Bren’s later talk with Mallory (now that she is back in contact with the Vengence of Paran’s systems) leaves him with the impression that something isn’t quite right with her. His talk with Deklin convinces him that Deklin needs something to shock him out of his loneliness and despair. Maybe Decklin needs a girlfriend. But who?

18.01.24 Landing Party [Mark 17-Feb-01] Includes three episodes: Work Detail, A Hunting We Will Go, and In the Path of Disaster, although this is a short scenario, much character interaction requires 4-5 play sessions.

18.02 Trail Blazing [Kay 31-Mar-02]

18.02 Blind date [Mark] Bren and Mur fix Deklin (who has been overworking) up with Caana Roselund (a former Angel Squadron pilot) at Down Time for some dancing and a meal. Caana is a Lieutenant on the bridge of the Aegis with sorrow in her past (the loss of Maxwell Stam and the nerve damage that prevents her from being a starfighter pilot). Deklin and Caana end up at the “Hole in the Wall” where they both help the Kidronese owner subdue a belligerant Gammorean cook. Deklin finishes cooking for the shift and he and Caana talk. Could it be that Bren and Mur’s plan is succeeding?

18.02 Slip Through Your Fingers [Kay] Bren, Mur, Arkel, Deklin and An with 2 Y-wing pilots (Jaclyn) and 2 special forces members (Samuelson) volunteer for a dangerous mission to silence a critical listening post so the Fleet can slip out of the Drift and away from Imperial pursuit. Caana is shocked and horrified that Deklin has calmly cooked dinner for the group when he should have spent the time on Y-wing simulator runs. Strong and conflicting emotions crackle between the two and end with Deklin grabbing and kissing Caana before leaving to join An. The infiltration group flies in close formation and drops out of hyperspace in perfect position to sneak into the base. While Mur, Arkel, and our explosives expert head for the power source, Bren, Deklin and Samuelson head for the communications and sensor room. Bren must fight off a group of six stormtroopers and their commanding officer before he can join the others. Inside the communications center, Bren finds the place in flames, Samuelson mortally wounded by his flamethrower explosion, and Deklin seriously wounded, but in control of the com net. Bren must deal with the remaining enemy, stabilize Samuelson, patch up Deklin and get the party moving back toward the hanger. The power source is destroyed and our heroes leave by stealing an Imperial shuttle to transport the wounded. Once back on the Aegis, when Caana sees Deklin’s ship land on autopilot and an unrecognizable body is brought off the shuttle, she fears the worst, but Deklin is safe after all. “Boss, when I said watch your back, I didn’t mean forget your front!” says An with her usual sarcastic concern.


Snow Storm [Kay] The Fleet moves into WildSpace, and critical shortages which could not be helped in the Drift must now be addressed. Bren, Arkel, Jaclyn and Lt. Kandara Ah’Kra (an engineer from the Maris Devant) are sent to investigate calderite deposits needed to reline the fleets big guns. On an arctic planet they find a motley assortment of miners (Cuzik, Skass, and the “dog” Cooter) who suggest that “old man Epel might have the ore they need, as he always holds some back.” During the dangerous two day trip out to Epel’s holding, the party is attacked by a pack of snow beasts that are fended off by the brave actions of the travelers (and Bren’s lightsaber). Old Epel has a very good stash of ore, but his price is that they take his granddaughter “to freedom and happiness off-planet” when they go. Bren cannot promise happiness for Sama, and together he and Sama insist that Epel accompany them back to the Fleet, where they will be as safe as anyone else there. Epel agrees, and Deklin and An are called in to carry the ore back to the Fleet.

18.02 Sword of Light [Kay]

18.02 Pandora’s Hope [Mark, CARP convention scenario] A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…It is the early days of the Rebellion, before the Destruction of Alderaan or the victorious Battle of Yavin and only a few beings oppose the Empire’s growing oppression. It is a desperate time and many lives depend on the actions of one small band of heroes. Indeed, for thousands, these heroes may be their only hope. Involves Mouse & Montoya with help.

18.03 Death Star Plans [Kay] While on Elashandru Pica, Bren, Murlyn, & Russman learn that the Empire has set an ambush for the Rebels in Parmic Sector. The bait is the plans to an immense battle station code named: Death Star. The heroes arrange to warn the Rebels and obtain the actual plans.

18.03 Dead Man’s Hand [Mark, CARP convention scenario] A trip on the Mon Cal designed luxury liner Stellar Princess is interrupted by a Pirate Attack that breaches the liner’s hull. The characters must escape the damaged liner, survive a rough landing, free any prisoners, and foil the pirates.

18.03 Event: The Fleet Arrives in Five Suns Space

18.03 The events of Star Wars IV: A New Hope occur. The Death Star is destroyed at the Battle of Yavin.18-21 The events of the Classic Star Wars comics series occurs.18.03 Turning Over a New Wing [Kay] A short scenario that resolves who is in charge of which starfighter squadrons,

and selection of new pilots, etc. Bren’s childhood friends, the members of the Osirrag-based Sabers biker gang (Woody Lawling, Jo Alcott, Lain Dako, and Blinky Carson), join the Rebellion. Woody, Jo, and Lane join Angel squadron as pilots; Blinky joins as a support tech.

18.03 For Whom the Bells Toll [Mark] Arkel must return to Coyn to stop the arranged marriage of his beloved, Kalar Chu’La Th’Trar. To do so he must break his exile, gather a band of followers strong enough to break through the obstacles and warriors placed in his path, and battle the most recent Champion of the Rols’Kus, her perspective bridegroom, Dar Thunderstrike. With the help of his friends: Bren, Murlyn, and As’Rais along with many allies: his Uncle Talek Kt’Aya, his brother-in-law Sev’Tar Tos’Zantal, the Parrs’Terek’Mar, Tuag Parr’Mortak – a family retainer come to serve as his father served Arkel’s father, the Zal’Har – a mixed group of younger sons of clans Tevar’Tris, Arl’Lak, and Kt’Aya, Arkel is able to reach the temple, stop the wedding, defeat and kill Dar in single combat, and save his girl from a fate worse than death. Arkel and Kalar are united. But they cannot marry (yet). The King is angry that Arkel has thwarted his plan. However, Arkel’s victory has gained him popular support and the Queen finds Arkel and Kalar romantic. She will consel the King that “now is not the time to act against this brave warrior.” Im’Toral will tell Arkel that “your exile will be held in abeyance while the light of Coynek is still in the sky,” i.e. he has until sunset to get off Coyn. (And sunset is not far away.)Kalar’s father Zoram tells Arkel that “Arkel Tevar’Tris, Lom’zee’tah’Skass, you are well named, but Kalar Chu’La Th’Trar is the daughter of an Ag’Tra...and my daughter will not marry below her station.” Zoram views Arkel as a homeless wanderer who has essentially been disowned by his clan and is without true status on Coyn. Unless Arkel can show that he is worthy of Kalar, Zoram will not give his permission for them to marry. Zoram has arranged for a fast speeder outside the palace grounds to take Arkel and friends quickly away from the capital and off to a waiting shuttle to return Arkel to Coyn Sky Station. This will prevent Arkel’s apprehension by the En’Tra’s Guard as well as limit Arkel’s time with Kalar.

18.03 Liberation of Derilyn Part I: Delivery to Derilyn [Mark] Blare Estrella returns to Derilyn, but his contact is caught and killed by the Secret Police on Derilyn and he must find the Friend of Paran on his own. Estrella is a witness to the firing of the Ion Cannon that the Rebels have smuggled into the Ruins of Paran.

18.03-04 Liberation of Derilyn Part II: Winds of Victory [Mark] (This is predominantly a scenario for Tora and Darien.) Before the Liberation of Derilyn can occur, the Rebels will need to cut off Elrood Sector from immediate reinforcement by Thuris Sector. To do that, the Rebels plan to block the main hyperspace route through the New Capri System. That System is a crucial juncture on the Elrood-Thuris trade route. It controls the main route for ships, troops, and supplies moving into Elrood Sector. It is critical that the Rebels gain detailed information on Imperial defenses before any assault on New Capri. Once they reach the planet, the heroes learn the Rebel assault has been moved up to capitalize on the Empire’s confusion in the wake of the Rebel victory at Yavin, but the Imperials are about to activate an Orbital Defense Network (ODN) around New Capri. They must find a way to disable the ODN before the assault begins or the Rebel operation is doomed. With the assistance of both Tora and Darien the ODN is brought down and the assault by Five Suns League Ralnai Jump Troopers succeeds.

18.04 Liberation of Derilyn Part III: They Call It Sabotage [Mark] In the lead up to the Liberation of Derilyn, Akeo, Blinky, and Ross Tarrick infiltrate the Derilyn Space Defense Platform as general migrant workers to gain plans and other information about the station and then sabotage the communications array that is used by the Imperials to coordinate military operations in the sytem.

18.04 Those Who Wait to Strike [Kay] Bren has a dream/nightmare/vision of fighting 2-saber (Jar Kai) style against a shadowy opponent. Before he can see his opponent’s face, he wakes up. Practice: He He goes to the liner to practice 2-saber style with Roubal. They are interrupted by Jevarra (who is 6-months pregnant). She fears there is something wrong with the baby. Bren cannot sense anything clearly as there is a shadow preventing accurate sensing. Bren feels Shadow is responsible. Bren teachers Jevarra Control 1D. (She spends 1 CP to speed up learning.) Perfect: Raven interrupts via comlink telling Bren that Calib’s flight is missing. They went into jump and didn’t come out. Bren uses a FP to lifesense Calib. Bren and Mur jump to his location. The cause of the misjump is a bad chip in Calib’s NavComp. Once they return, Mur and Nutras pull the chips and discover more bad chips, even among Angel Squadron. The chips seem to fail after a certain point in time. The short term solution is faster chip replacement. After we return, we find a case of premium Utozz in Bren’s quarters with a note: “From your friends in Flight 3, Elite Squadron!”

18.04.15 Liberation of Derilyn Part IV: Battle for Derilyn [Mark and Kay] (JAN-MAR 2005) A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…It is a period of civil war. Following the Rebels victorious destruction of the Death Star at Yavin, a wave of rebellion has spread to systems throughout the Empire. One of those systems is Derilyn in Elrood Sector where a brave band of Rebels works together to overthrow the oppressive yoke of the Galactic Empire. This is the battle that leads up to Bren’s final confrontation with Shadow, the Rebel capture of the Derilyn Space Defense Platform, and the Liberation of Derilyn. Heroes throughout the sector play their parts. On planets throughout the sector the flame of rebellion is fanned. Meanwhile, the Union Fleet has returned from its epic retreat from Almar Station and General Brolis, the Union’s strategist has planned his master stroke: the capture of the Derilyn Space Defense Platform. Using a four pronged attack and supported by a smuggled ion cannon concealed within the ruins of Paran, the Union Fleet must simultaneously engage the Imperial System Fleet along with a fleet secretly sent by Shadow to trap the Union forces and especially the young Jedi who is Shadow’s son, Bren Fairchilde.The multi-pronged attack succeeds in dividing the Imperial forces and the combination of sabotage within and the Ion Cannon planet-side nullify the Defense Platform’s ability to assist the Imperial Fleet. But unbeknownst to the Rebels, Shadow has moved the Imperial TIE Ace Colonel Steiner and his crack wing of TIE fighters. This threatens the rebel assault on the station. Angel squadron is dispatched in what appears a suicide mission through the minefield to defend the assault ships and shuttles. Meanwhile, Deklin and An s’Laq in the Lame Duck valiant assist the outnumbered X-Wings of Elite Squadron in defending against Steiner and his TIEs. Meanwhile, the Light of Freedom after destroying multiple enemy ships is damaged and forced into a crash landing on Derilyn. As’Rais accompanied by Cmdr M’Klane enters the palace to hunt down his enemy General Hul. He cuts his way through stormtroopers and Nel’Vatek mercenary guards, but is dishonorably shot down by General Hul himself. As more stormtroopers arrive, M’Klane retreats back to her injured crew to lead them into the city to try to rendezvous with the Friends of Paran. In a maneuver that no other squadron could possibly duplicate, the Angels succeed in getting all their X-Wings at speed through the minefield and assisting the assault task force. In the battle, Mur leaves the fight to land on the station and Bren’s ship is damaged and with a cracked canopy he is forced to land on the station as well.


On the Space Defense Platform, Bren and Mur confront Shadow and with the assistance of the shade of Sareetha Fairchilde, Bren’s mother, they succeed in turning Vordarrion Hawkwind back to the light. Vordarrion sacrifices his life to save Bren and Murlyn from a Sith trap and to use his remaining Force Points to fuse the power conduits and allow the station’s weapons and shields to power back up in time to hold off the Imperial reinforcements. Bren defeats ace TIE interceptor pilot Colonel Steiner and though injured Bren is able to use projective telepathy to trick VSD Captain Tanda Pryl into thinking he is force user powerful enough to have slain one of the chosen. She commands her stardestroyer to jump out of the system. This retreat demoralizes the remaining Imperial forces and leaves the Rebels in control of the Derilyn System (though they do yet control the urban areas of the planet itself). Many brave rebels have died, but many have survived and in the aftermath, promotions and medals are received by many of the heroes. General Brolis assigns command of the station to newly promoted Captain Harmony M’Klane.

18.04 Fall of a Tyrant [Mark] (MAR 2005) Darien and Tora must unite the disparate forces on New Capri in an attempt to overthrow the cruel regime in power and free all the people of New Capri. This unified local force along with help from the Five Suns League succeeds in overthrowing the Henocrat and taking control of the system. Meanwhile, Tanda Pryl, frightened by the fall of Shadow at Derilyn and a telepathic contact by a being strong in the Force (Bren), instructs her pilot to select a destination to jump the Thunderflare out of the system (to Stend). Unaware of these events, the free people of New Capri celebrate the fall of the Henocrat. Darien’s revenge for the loss of his family is now complete.

18.04.20 Endings, Beginnings, and Tangled Middles [Kay] (31-DEC-2005) End of Vordarrion Hawkwind and birth of Darrion son of Dar and Jevara. Bren sees, through the eyes of baby Darrion, the Force aura around himself, Mur, and Roubal. Clearly the baby is strong in the Force…like his fathers before him.

21 Crossover [Mark] The Empire’s quest for new weapons results in the creation of the Hypershear Wave Generator, which causes a rift in the space time continuum that allows the Empire to send the heavy cruiser Corulag into Federation space. The Corulag ambushes the Saratoga and the Ghenna (which is under repair) and captures Captain Haldane, Dr. Toval, Ensign Peabody of the USS Saratoga (along with a Fleet Captain and a Vice Admiral). A task force consisting of the Saratoga (under Cmdr. McCullars), the Osprey (under Capt. Plizek), and the Korax (under Capt. Tyr) cross the rift in pursuit. There they have a mistaken battle with the Ralltir, a sister ship to the Corulag but under Alliance control, and capture two starfighter pilots from the Ralltir [Bren and Arkel]. During the battle the Imperials show up and pound on both sides and the Korax is lost.Eventually the Federation and Alliance ships decide to form an Alliance and the new allies send a mission off two Byblos to hijack an Imperial supply ship so that they can infiltrate the HSWG base. Eventually, they make contact with the King of Thieves on Byblos and with his aid they succeed in capturing the transport.

STAR WARS EPISODE V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

21 The events of Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back occur. The Imperials route the Rebels at the Battle of Hoth; Luke is trained by Yoda, loses his hand, and learns Vader is his father; Han Solo is frozen in carbonite and taken to Jabba the Hutt’s Palace by Boba Fett. [3 ASW4]

22 The events of Shadows of the Empire. The heroes confront the infamous criminal organization known as Black Sun, headed by the nefarious Prince Xizor (shee-zor). This sets up some of the events in Return of the Jedi, like Luke having Imperial pants and boots or Leia having Boussh’s armor.

22 The events of Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi occur.
