- advised international students (as well as their dependents) with regard to immigration

matters

- primary person to manage SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System),

Citizenship and Immigration Services) pertaining to F-1 and F-2 visa holders

- organized and conducted informational workshop sessions on immigration regulations

and procedures

- promoted diversity and cultural awareness in Indiana and at IUP through coordination of

various programming (e.g., International Unity Day, International Education Week)

- coordination of Study Abroad activities for designated IUP Study Abroad programs and

third party providers (CEA - , SAI - Study Abroad Italy, ETEN - European Teacher

Education Network, AustraLearn)

- coordination of ISEP (International Student Exchange Programs): Europe, North

America, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand

- organization and presentation of Study Abroad information sessions

- assistance with Study Abroad scholarships (Gilman, Bridging, CEA)

- coordination of pre-departure sessions for outgoing students to prepare them for their

Study Abroad experience

- coordination of re-entry programs for returning Study Abroad students

- maintenance of information on the Study Abroad website
