Provide technical assistance (TA) to Government at national, state and district level for planning, implementing and monitoring evidence based programming related to Maternal and New Born Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN)

Lead in identifying, conceptualization, designing and roll out of evidence based programmes related to MNCHN for implementation at scale including its quality monitoring in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand

Critically review and analyze evidence of best practices related to Maternal and New Born Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN) and recommendations for replication of these best practices for programming at scale

Advocate for the scale up of proven MNCHN best practices with UP and Jharkhand state Governments and their partners

Advocate with Governments and their counterparts on evidence based decision making with a view to influence MNCHN policies for programme correction

Contribute towards the quarterly and annual planning process of the Project and oversee its smooth implementation

Provide close handholding to sub awardees and grooming of their staff at various levels for technical assistance on MNCHN related issues

Lead the Project’s efforts for carrying out studies related to costing of various TA components from the perspective of expandability of the TAs

Facilitate field visits of key stakeholders like government counterparts/ donors/ IntraHealth HQ staff, President, Vice- President/ etc. for showcasing Project’s efforts and its learnings
