1. Abstract

This deliverable describes the development of the Project website, which is part of the dissemination,

marketing and exploitation work package.

It includes introductory information about the project and public deliverables as they become available

(technical journal paper, public deliverables,..).

It needs to be regularly updated.

2. Development of the Project Website

The project website www.boma-project.eu will serve as one of the main dissemination channels. It will

eventually include download areas for public deliverables as well as interactive elements in the later

stages of the project.

Due to the early nature of the project and limited public deliverables no effort has yet been made to

direct external (public) traffic to the site. Consortium members may log-in and access work packages

details and progress. Currently under construction, although this might be revisited for reasons set out

below.

Major news items are listed on the home page.

As the project itself is of relative short duration it is intended to use the site to support the on-going

effort of the consortium and members of the marine leisure industry surrounding them to find relevant

information about BOMA results rather than the details of the project. The BOMA site will act as a

support for acceptance and implementation of BOMA.

Besides and introduction to the project and “about” BOMA, sections are dedicated to the Consortium,

Team, Project Structure and special attention to the underlying concepts of Quantum Lifecycle

Management (QLM).

In order to prepare for bringing BOMA to the attention of the boating public and members of the

leisure marine industry a “Feedback” section with questionnaires is under construction. The draft

version is available on-line. Members of the consortium have tested this and minor improvements are

planned shortly.

Contact details are being gathered for a number of specialized blog sites and forums that concentrate

on various specific boating communities. These will be targeted to gather information on the

questionnaires and directed to the BOMA site.
