The cost of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in Asia last week went down due to decrease in domestic prices in China. HDPE seven days it fell by $ 10 under CFR China. Demand for polymers is still weak. Buyers is limited to the minimum purchase amount.

Prices for high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE) for the week have not changed. Consumption of thermoplastics has been sluggish. Asian buyers are not able to maintain high prices offered by producers. Linear Polyethylene (LPEVD) over the past seven days and no change in price.

Manufacturers of polypropylene (PP) in Asia have not been able to further price increases, despite the fact that the cost of propylene is growing. The cost of the polymer on the background of low demand from refiners is stagnant.

Prices of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) continues to stagnate the third consecutive week. Most of the Asian market players expect that in May, prices of PVC will remain stable. Also on local producers is putting pressure American polyvinyl chloride. Consumption of polymer in the first week of the May on April increased.

polystyrene (PS) for the week fell in price by $ 20 under CFR China. Chinese refiners have reduced the volume of purchases that could not have any impact on prices.
