12

Decommissioning Training

Share the experience and knowledge of the industry with others new to the field – focus on lessons learned

Integrated approach was chosen using industry experienced contractors and ANL staff presenting classroom fundamentals and project case studies

After 12+ years (over 50 sessions) we have nearly 1300 graduates from over 40 countries

Decommissioning Certificate Program (DCP)

Certificate issuing program developed by combined efforts of Argonne National Laboratory and Oak Ridge Associated Universities– Facility Decommissioning Class – ANL– MARSSIM Training – ORAU

•Plus one of three other eligible decommissioning related training courses offered by one of these organizations

Intended to leverage skills and expertise of staff members with DCP credentials

DDSC Approach

ANL and ORAU experts ‘scour’ available sources and update website with the very latest news and technical input

Address the needs of the domestic and international decommissioning community

Provide knowledge base from:– an operational standpoint– for project status information – for educational / conference resources

Organized into ‘Focus Sections’
