SelectionThe informationday

Aims to provide all necessary information for those interested in volunteering to assess whether this is something for them. Not only methodical but also practical information.

The way of giving information is designed in a way that the basic principles and attitudes of Kindertelefoon come back in every issue through the whole afternoon.

The idea behind this is: Practice what you preach.

Selection(information day)Examples: Receiving the entire group with a red carpet (the warm welcome, making contact at the start, a phase in our conversation model). The trainers make this ‘compelling start ' where people initially be surprised. That is our first exciting surprise intervention to challenge participants in the desire of learning. We use the assumption that surprise or astonishment prefaces to know more.
