Protos è il progetto più ambizioso mai realizzato dalla famiglia De Rosa.

E’ il risultato di due anni di lavoro, un progetto im-portante che ha voluto fondere tutto il prezioso “Know How” accumulato in quasi 60 anni di lavoro, con l’ingegneria e il design.Protos è il frutto nato dalla collaborazione con l’ ing. Genovese, il quale ha perfettamente interpretato le esigenze e le idee espresse dalla famiglia De Rosa in merito alla costruzione di un telaio innovativo, performante, stabile e di grande impatto estetico. Qualcosa senza pari!Una volta in sella le sensazioni percepite sono uni-che, sembrerà irreale che il comfort di guida con-viva con una reattività assoluta. La capacità di assorbire e disperdere le irregolarità del terreno è ottenuto dal particolare design della forcella “Head Flat Face”, la quale può vantare un CX invidiabile, addirittura per una bicicletta da cronometro.Protos non lascia nulla al caso. Il materiale, un mix sapiente di 3 fibre di carbonio applicate e dosate per ottenere un risultato unico. La composizione è formata dal 50% da fibra TI800, il 40% TI 1000, e il 10% da XN60. Il telaio PROTOS incrementa del 35% il valore STW (stiffness to weight) rispetto alle tra-dizionali bici da competizione. Il sistema innovativo di cablaggio interno, la soluzione “full integrated”, la scatola movimento da 86,5mm e lo sterzo diffe-renziato da 1 1/8 e 1 1/4, rendono ancora più unico questo telaio. IL MATERIALE: Una composizione di 3 materiali, un mix sapiente di 3 fibre applicate e dosate per otte-nere un risultato mirato. L’obbiettivo era incremen-tare la rigidità senza intaccare il comfort, alleggeri-re però mantenendo una stabilità unica.La composizione è formata dal 55% da fibra TI800, il 35% TI 1000, e il 10% da XN60, questi componenti ci hanno concesso di raggiungere l’obbiettivo.Il KING RS incrementa del 25% il valore STW (stiffness to weight) rispetto alle tradizionali bici da competizione.

CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE: sterzo da 1’/2 nella parte inferiore, scatola movimento predisposta per BB 30, carro posteriore con forcellini in carbonio integrati, cablaggio a scomparsa con ingresso fron-tale e scorrimento esterno.

Il top di gamma di De Rosa si arricchisce di una nuova serie di telai: l’888 SuperKing nei modelli “R”, “SR” e “E”.

Il modello “E” è stato progettato con il fine di inte-grare al telaio la batteria Eps, batteria che muove i gruppi elettronici prodotti da Campagnolo.L’ 888 SuperKing “E” è il frutto della collaborazione tra i nostri progettisti e gli ingegneri di Campagno-lo. Questa unione ha fatto si che nascesse il primo telaio al mondo dedicato al gruppo Campagno-lo Eps con batteria completamente a scomparsa all’interno del telaio, e ricaricabile tramite un “plug” inserito nel telaio stesso.

I modelli “R” e “SR” sono invece dedicati a tutti co-loro che sceglieranno i gruppi meccanici.

La serie 888 SuperKing è caratterizzata da un “blend” di 3 differenti tipi di fibre composite MR-60 (295 GPA/5800MPA), HR-40 (390GPA/4610MPA) e NGF’s 630GPA. Inoltre sono stati aggiunti dei rin-forzi strutturali nei punti di maggior sollecitazione usando un “complex” di fibre ad altissimo modulo.

I materiali usati e la tecnologia costruttiva De Rosa donano al telaio estrema rigidità ma permettendo contemporaneamente di sfogare le proprie doti di grande reattività e di stabilità estrema. La presta-zioni aeroelastiche di MERAK danno ottimi risultati nella resistenza alla fatica.

MERAK presenta la predisposizione per il montag-gio eventuale di un movimento BB30, tubo ster-zo “oversize” che consente l’utilizzo di uno sterzo maggiorato di 1,1\2 e della forcella dedicata. 7 sono le taglie disponibili. Affascinante e muscoloso il de-sign.

The model, with a design attractive and powerful, is produced entirely in carbon, a masterly mix of fibres giving the MERAK a frame with the best pos-sible mechanical characteristics.

The materials used and De Rosa’s manufacturing technology make the frame extremely rigid, while at the same time allowing it to show off its extraor-dinary responsiveness and stability. The aeroelastic performance of MERAK provides excellent results in terms of resistance to fatigue.

MERAK can also accommodate the fitting of a BB30 movement, with oversize steering tube al-lowing the use of steering with 1.1\2 bearings and fork designed specially for it. There are 7 sizes avai-lable. The design is attractive and powerful.

FORMULA KING è un prodotto ricco di grandi con-tenuti tecnici e come tale è destinato alle corse contro il tempo, disciplina dove l’aereodinamica e la biomeccanica sono fondamentali per ottenere un telaio che consenta prestazioni sempre piu perfor-manti.Il progetto “FORMULA KING” ha il telaio realizzato con una struttura monoscocca dove l’utilizzo del-la fibra ‘unidirezionale’ conferisce rigidità e legge-rezza, qualità fondamentali per ottenere risultati elevati. Ha l’attacco manubrio “integrato”, dove è di fatto un’appendice e la continuazione del telaio stesso.Un’ulteriore scelta tecnica è la posizione del freno posteriore, che scompare tra le linee tese e musco-lose della scatola movimento, migliorando l’aerodi-namicità senza compromettere la frenata.

Inoltre per soddisfare maggiormente le esigenze dei nostri atleti professionisti, si è voluto aggiunge-re una taglia in più rispetto alla generale tendenza di limitare a 3 tale scelta.

The new “FORMULA KING” is the result of a synergy born between our experience in the racing world, the engineering study and requests of our professionalriders.

“FORMULA KING” is a product full of great technical contents and as such is for time trial, which requires aerodynamic and biomechanic qualities to have aframe with higher level performances.

“FORMULA KING” project has a monocoque struc-turewith an undirectional fiber that gives stifness and lightness, important to have a very high results . It has an integrated stem which is infact the continua-tion of the frame itself.

A further integration is the rear brake; it disappears into the bottom bracket design, improving aerodynamicwithout compromising the braking.

Also to meet the our professional riders requests we have added a size more respect the general trendlimited at 3 sizes.

TITANIO 3/2.5 is a frame that goes beyond fashion, designed and produced for those who love unique objects. Timeless in terms of its class and style, it adopts technology at the cutting edge. The TITANIO 3/2.5 frame is produced personally by Doriano De Rosa, with special tubes in titanium al-loy: double-thickness TI3AL-2,5V. The steering tube is CNC machined, as are the fork ends. A master-piece with the De Rosa trademark, in which genu-ine titanium enhances its qualities of lightness and mechanical resistance. Strictly and only made to measure.

TITANIO 3/2.5 è un telaio che va’ oltre le mode, pensato e prodotto per gli amanti di oggetti unici. Intramontabile per classe e stile, è dotato di grandi valenze tecnologiche. Il telaio TITANIO 3/2.5 viene prodotto personal-mente da Doriano De Rosa, con tubazioni speciali in lega di Titanio: TI3AL-2,5V a doppio spessore. Il tubo sterzo è ricavato dal pieno a CNC, come anche i forcellini. Un capolavoro firmato De Rosa, dove il vero Titanio esalta le sue doti di leggerezza e resi-stenza meccanica.
