Wednesday 22nd October is the Halloween disco for KS1 and KS2.

children bring a £1 into school on the day. They will get a goodie bag

at the disco with a drink, crisps, cup cake and sweets. Pupils need to

bring any costume, or change of clothes, into school (to be hung on their coat peg during the day).

KS2 disco is between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Tickets are priced at £1 and will include a free drink, crisps and

sweets. Pupils need to bring any costume, or change of clothes, into school (to be hung on their coat peg

during the day). Tickets are on sale from Friday morning break. Pupils may wish to bring spending money

to purchase sweets and hot dogs. Please provide this in a named purse or envelope. Any money will be col-

lected in and kept in a safe place until the disco commences. Any child not participating in the disco should

be collected at home time in the usual way.

Parents are requested to wait just outside school at the main entrance, when at the end of the disco they

will be invited in to collect their child from their usual classroom. Pupils will not be allowed to walk home

unaccompanied.

We would like to thank the parents and staff who are members of the Friends of Parkhead team for their

support and help. We would be grateful if anyone can volunteer help for these types of events and if you

FRIENDS OF PARKHEAD – WINTER FAYRE

The Friends of Parkhead Primary School are organising a Winter Fayre on Saturday 22nd of November at

10am to raise money for projects and resources to benefit all of the children including our Library Bus

Project.

Please let us know if you would be willing to help on the day of the fayre either helping to set up the stalls

in the morning or running a stall. We will be collecting for our Chocolate tombola stall and any teddies or

soft toys for our teddy stall so please donate a chocolate bar, box of chocolates or any other chocolate

items or teddies. You can send them into school with your children.

The fayre will be a great place to buy Christmas presents and stocking fillers as we have private stall

holders as well as our very popular Teddy bear tombola, bottle tombola, chocolate tombola and many other

KEY STAGE ONE

Please can you ensure that you drop

off your children at the KS1 main

door adjacent to the yard and pick

up from the yard on an evening.

Please understand we cannot allow

parents to come into school on a

morning when the children are

hanging coats up etc as this isn't in

line with the safeguarding policy.

Any messages can be passed to

staff on the door who will inform

the class teacher. If you urgently

need to speak to the teacher this

can be arranged.
