Marylandwasoneofdensebrushandfallentrees.Today,whenthefriendsgatheronthe

propertytheyseeaverydifferentplace.WearemovingforwardontheBeauGficaGonProgramdesignedtofollowtheexampleofAbdu'l-BahandBelovedShoghiEffendiof

creaGngblossominggardens,grovesoffragrantandfruiGngtrees,gatheringplacesandconnecGngpathways.

TheunfoldmentofthisProgramhasgreatlyinspiredthefriendstoparGcipate.Severalhave

donatedandplantedanaddiGonal107evergreentrees.Withthehelpofmembersfrom

severalcommuniGesthepropertywellwaterwasmadeavailablethissummertoreducethecostofwateringtheplants.AmemberofthecommunityofRanson,WestVirginiadonated

135seedlingsoftreesandfloweringbusheswhichwerepoXedandbeddedinthenurserybycommunitymembersfromPC-South,PC-North,MC-East,MC-SE,reenbelt,AAC-Westand

Alexandria.Theneighborscomplimentedthe

BahsonthebeauGfullandscapethathashelpedincreasethevalueoftheproperGesinthearea.

ContribuGonsareneededtoreducethedebt,pay

operaGngexpensesandinterest,andsupportthebeauGficaGonwork.Newloansarealsoneeded

toreplaceexisGngloansfromBahlenders.
