My paintings combine realism with expressionism and abstraction.I've been painting for over 40 years, winning awards in over half ofthe 100 national exhibitions I've been accepted into. Oftendescribed as a "painterly painter," my paintings sometimes reflectnature, music, and figures, but often simply an interesting design.My paintings aren't an imitation of anything, but more of anemotional response to an idea combined with creative use ofmaterials.
