One Month Away! 2012 Photo Contest

• To qualify, photos must meet the following criteria: • Photo must fall within one of two categories: People or Projects.

The photo must reflect EWB-USA as an organization, the people we work with and/or the work we do.

• Photo must be submitted in jpg format • Photos must be submitted with a caption along with the

photographer’s name (if unknown please provide chapter name)

Chapters can submit multiple entries. Twenty winners will be selected, ten in each category (people or projects).

EWB-Colorado Rep?

The purpose of this role is to “better facilitate communication between the national office and chapters and to increase resource-sharing and communication among chapters in the state and region.”

The representative would be able to hold regular conference calls or find an equivalent means to facilitate communication between the chapters in the state. 

The state representative would also call into monthly meetings facilitated by CRM and attended by the state representatives from across the region.

Current consensus is that $14k in Unrestricted funds is more than we'd like to keep. Mark proposed that the chapter will vote on this matter in March. John H should provide a breakdown of funds for this vote: how much stays unrestricted, how much goes to project funds.

monitoring trip in June. Education, O&M are secondary goals

• Implementation trip tentatively scheduled for October

Chris F lead an in-depth discussion on some challenes facing the Togo project. 1) Creating a MOU that is understood by all parties—techniques for ensuring the community upholds their end of the understanding. Videotape recording of the MOU signing.2) Document all communication between EWB-Denver and CADO, our in-country partner.

Scott Allen gave an overview of the Madagascar project, including the upcoming trip in March to work with subcontractor Busghproof to conduct a surface water system feasibilty study.
