FRACP Part 1Residential Course in Paediatrics

Department of Paediatrics: Child and Youth Health

2015 Department of Paediatrics: Child and Youth Health FRACP Part 1: Residential Course in Paediatrics | 1

Introduction

We welcome participants to the FRACP Part 1 Residential Course in Paediatrics. The course is primarily directed towards the Part 1 Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Paediatrics exam, which takes place in February 2016. We therefore have invited speakers to lecture on subjects who they consider to be important to paediatrics at the trainee level or knowledge leading on to more complex matters later on in their training.

Straightforward opinions concerning the strengths and weaknesses of the programme allow us to improve future courses and we hope you will record these on the questionnaires provided during the course.

The social programme, morning and afternoon teas and a lite lunch are included in the registration fee.

We are grateful to local participants and the participants outside Auckland and those overseas for their efforts in this teaching programme - their role in conducting the course is an essential one.

The venue will be Room 501-110, Level 1 University of Auckland’s Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Building, 85 Park Road, Grafton.
