• Rapid Response (four per DJC2 system)2/15 operators as stand-alone, light, highly

mobile C2 capability transported by 1-2 persons as carry-on/checked baggage

Provides C2 for first responders and smallcontrol teams

• En Route (one per DJC2 system)6/12 operators on pallet, with airborne

basic situational awareness, essential mission planning and execution

Provides limited C2 capability while airborne

• Early Entry (shown in gold at right)20 operators sheltered, provides C2

utilizing two networks plus JWICS; 72-96 hour package supporting COC operations prior to arrival of Core

Set up and operational in less than 6 hr

• Core (shown in gray at right); remainder of system (two additional networks) is additive to Early Entry configuration to make Core

60 operators sheltered, small JTF scales to larger JTF

Set up and operational in less than 24 hr

DJC2 IP Convergence Suite (IPCS)

• DJC2 worked with DISA and JCSE to utilize stove-piped IP systems within DISA and JCSE to create the Defense Information Systems Network Tactical Edge (DISN-TE)

Operational architecture within STEP/Teleports

• DJC2 IPCS is hybrid solutionAllows for IP convergence and both legacy (Promina) and new / smaller (NX1000) circuit-based solutionsProvides greater bandwidthAllows system to truly augment comms and have aggregated bandwidthReaches back to DISN-TE at STEP site

• DJC2 Joint Program Office in partnership with DISA to operationalize DISN-TE at all STEP sites globally

DJC2 architecture includes circuit-based communications as backup to IPCS

• Reduces maintainability / supportability• Optimizes server utilization (reduces number of servers/footprint)• Allows for disparate capabilities to be co-hosted • Enables adjustable capability sets

• Sets (groupings) of virtual servers can be powered on / off, co-hosted, etc.

Virtualization of base capabilities (e.g., databases) serve as

templates for virtualization of more advanced capabilities

DJC2 Data Replication Services

• Allows customers to replicate large amounts of data from Garrison/DOSC Tier 2/SSA to deployed systems using transfers via GBS or standard communications link

Replication service hosted and accessed as a WebApp on DJC2 support portal User Interface wizard guides user through the data replication processSelectable transfer points (from / to)Network shares replicate to DJC2 share driveSharePoint data replicates to the proper file locations on the DJC2 SharePoint server

- Transfer errors generate an auto-resend of SharePoint data

Governance through transfer validation and fault tolerance - Data transfers validated and tracked via Validation Web Service (VWS) log
