Everyathleteknows thepowerof daily exerciseand the
importanceofworkingout everyday.Every
musician also knows the importance of a daily practice.
Mydaughter Gabriella spends a lot of time
practicingherpianoscales.
Idontknowmuchaboutmusic oraboutpiano,but Ihave enoughknowledge
to knowthat unlessyou
knowyourscalesandputtingthemtopracticeconstantly(eventhoughthiscanbeveryboringinthe
beginning),itisamustforyoutoknowitwell
ifyouaregoingtobeagoodpianoplayerbecauseitwill
giveyouthelexibilityandagility inyouringers,
alsoknowingyourscaleswellwillenableyoutoplay
differenttypesofmusicparts.
OurtimewithGodonaconstantbasiswillalsoenableustohearHisvoiceandbringmaturitytoourwalk

unlesswetakeourtimewithGodveryseriously,wewillneverfullybewhatGodhasdesiredforus.

7On the first day of the week we came togetherto break bread.
Paul spoke to the people and,
because he intended to leave the next day, kept
on talking until midnight.
The fact that they met on the first day of the
week and the urgency Paul had to minister to
them before he left.
What a great word! This verse reminds me that I
also must have a sense of urgency in ministering
Gods word because I dont know how long I will
be around.
Father, Give this sense of urgency to share your
word today!
