The government has stated that: “by 2010 each locality should have a User Led

Organisation (ULO)”

 A User Led Organisation involves Deaf and disabled people and carers in its day-to-day running and services.

Fusion meets all of the Department of Health requirements as the User Led Organisation for Devon and is now funded

by Devon County Council

Fusion Human Rights Training

Pack

What Fusion has doneHuman Rights Training Fusion involved people with learning disabilities to develop a training pack to raise awareness of Human Rights.

The Joint Engagement Board The board works to plan, monitor and evaluate involvement activities to make sure they are carried out in the correct way.

The Fusion Gateway Fusion sends out involvement activities to the Gateway so people can be involved. Fusion collects the responses and feedback to everyone.

The Putting People First Reference Group enables the Council or NHS to draw on personal experiences on the changes currently being made in health and social care.
