Dear Diary,

Happy new year & Happy 21st birthday to me!As you know, today is my birthday as well as my best friend's, Golf. Can you believe that we were born on the same day?!! Not so many people that I know did. Maybe that's why we get along well. Last year, I visited him and his sisters in the UK for 3 months and we had a lot of wonderful moments there. Travelling with them was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life, and I wish this opportunity would happen to us again in this year. ...So to remind me of the great time I had in the UK with him, I created this 2010 calendar in the concept of UK Memories as a New Year and birthday gift. There are entirely 12 journeys around the UK. A single journey was described in each month page. I also made the fabric case for the calendar by myself. It's really special because I used the exclusive pattern. You know what, I gave the gift to him last night and he really liked it. I'm so glad! hny again, Mook

Dear Diary,

I'm so tired. I went to bed at 4 in the morning because I had to prepare a lot of stuff for Magazines Grand Opening which was held today. At 10 am, I had to be at my faculty and settled everything in my little space in only two hours. After that, I had to present my project to everyone.

Due to the fact that the theme of my magazine is Happy Birthday, the grand opening's theme should be Birthday Party as well.

My Grand Opening consists of an event's model, a poster, a banner, a dummy, an invitation card, a souvenir, postcards and a brooch which was given to every guest after they registered.

It was a tough day for me, wasn't it?

Dear Diary,

Today, I proudly present "ta-da!" magazine for Handi-craft lovers. It's a big project of Graphic Design III. I worked very hard on it for two months. It was my first time to use Adobe InDesign. I think I quite love this program.

The theme of this issue is "Happy Birthday". There are 104 pages; 16 columns in total.

Anyway, I have something to confess. It's my huge mistake; the misspelling of theme's name on the cover page. I feel so bad. You know what, I proved the spelling through this magazine except for its cover page. I'm very sick of myself.

Dear Diary,

I'd like to tell you that I've finished my music video project called "Don't call it puppy love" song. It was the first time I used Adobe After Effects, so it's quite hard for me.

Anyway, I did it in the most basic way but it still comes out very lovely to me. Becaue of the mood of the song, Kids' Stuffs seems to be the best concept for this MV.

Dear Diary,

Have you seen these advertisements I made? They're my mid-term project. Our teacher wanted us to develop retouching skill. I think retouching isn't quite hard, but it's hard to find pictures to retouch. The pictures should be in good resolution, and finally, I found M&S Hand Wash pictures. So I decided to design advertisements for these products. Do you think it's a good idea?

This semester, I have Consumer Behavior class. Teacher asked us to design tour packages, co-operated with an airline. I chose Sanrio Lands tour with Japan Airlines. After planning tour schedule, I had to design a poster. I've just finished it. It's so cute, isn't it? I really love Sanrio's cartoon characters.

Dear Diary,

Package Design is the biggest project of this semester. I had to set up my company, Little Mook, and created various merchandises. I also designed logos and packages for each product. Finally, I had to put everything into Point of Purchase which I designed to be a wardrobe because my products are apparel. Both POP and packages are reduced in the proper size so that I can hand it in to my teacher eas-ier. However, I think it's still big and very heavy for me.

Dear Diary,

Print Making is an interesting subject which I am studying in this semester. We've studied about how to make art-works by printing. We mostly printed them on T-shirts. Only once, we did it on paper. Dear Diary,

Today, I have a yarn catalogue to show you. I did it as a project for graphic design subject. There are 13 pages in total I also designed a gimmick on the cover's opening. In each side, there is a shape of knitting needle under a button which is supposed to be a yarn. They can link together by using a string from the right button. It's a good idea, isn't it?

Dear Diary,

I didn't go to bed last night. I did my final project for Concept of Design class. It's an inspiration book. I had to collect all of my works to make this book. The concept is "Inspiry"; Inspiration + diary. I want my book to look more impressive, so I created the handicraft cover. The illustrations on the cover are my works that could be found in the book.

Everything was done at 7am And I had to hand it in at 9 am. Time ran so fast. I am so tired today. I haven't slept for 36 hours!!!!

Dear Diary, Do you see that envelope and the letter. It's my homework to redesign the original one. It looks like Mazda3 advertisement, so I designed the envelope to be a garage and when you open the garage, you will see Mazda3 parking inside as a letter. Wow! Is it cool? I love this idea, but I don't know if teacher will love it or not. (I hope he would) : D

Dear Diary,

Do you believe in destiny? If yes, you should watch Serendipity. Serendipity is one of my favourite romantic movies. And last week, I had an assignment to design Movie Premier Invitation. Undoubtedly, I chose Serendipity! I designed the envelope to be a shopping bag which holds an important thing inside like in the movie. The style of the shopping bag is about Christmas, because the story happened during Christmas festival. When you open the shopping bag, you will find a black glove which is the important thing I mentioned. If you let this glove lead you to the movie premier, I'm sure you'll find the matching pair in that event. :D

Dear Diary,

This is my homework for Graphic Design II subject. It's a booklet, described 10 ways to love yourself. The target group is working women who'd like to be healthy. ....and, I want to make this booklet look attractive to them. So, I thought it should be colourful and in tiny square shape. It's only 10x10 cm. I think it's so cute. Do you think my target group will like it?

Dear Diary

I finally finished this project, corporate manual. It's the biggest project for this semester. I had done it for 3 months. Everything was created using Adobe Illustrator. It's the first time I seriously used this program. I was supposed to set up my own company, Pet Beauty. I had to design many things for it, such as logo, name- card, envelope, letterhead, signage, pictograph, building, vehicle, product, tag, wrap paper, shopping bag, shop display, shop uniform, self-promotion sticker, advertisement and new media.

After I'd done this project, my Illustrator skill was improved apparently.

I was supposed to be a job hunter and my teacher was to be an employer. I had to do my self-promotion and send it to the employer. I designed it in the concept of "Small girl, Big idea", because many people always call me "Tua Lek" which means small girl. Dear Diary,

This is a big project in English subject. It's an English Tabloid. We did it as a team, but nobody had graphic skill, except me. Anyway, I only knew how to use Photoshop and I had no idea about the concept, theme, layout etc. ..So I had to look over many magazines in that short time, get inspiration from them, and adapt it in my own style. It's really hard work for me.

When it's finished, I had to find the printing house. There are only few in Hatyai. And Guess what? Printing costed totally 1,600 baht for only 40 pages. By the way, I think the final result was worthed it. Love,Mook

Dear Diary,

Do you see this yellow yearbook? It's the biggest graphic project in my life. Because I'm one of the student council in charge of Graphic Design, I had to create this 60th yearbook and be responsible for everything that related to it. I coordinated with teachers, students and printing house. It's really hard work for me to response everyone's desires in one book. I worked on it for 5 months. There are totally 180 pages. It was published for 1,400 books, and I've just distributed to teachers and students this afternoon. There are many feedbacks, both good and bad.

These experiences make me stronger. I learned how to work in the real life, accept every comment that could make me smile or cry. Anyway, I'm very proud of it. I've done my best.

Dear Diary,

I'm working on the 60th yearbook for my school. Last three months, I talked with the printing house. I was told if I print yearbook with them, they will give free VCD in each yearbook. Wow! It's cool, isn't it?

Anyway, it means that I had an extra work to do which is making VCD. It's the first time, I'd never used the program about motion before. It's a really hard work for me. In this month, I had to skip many classes to do this work, and I slept only four hours per day.

Finally, it's done. There are totally 8 chapters. Overallduration is an hour. I'm very very very proud of it. I've watched it for 20 times already!!!

Dear Diary

Two weeks ago, there was a concert of "Clash" at PSU (Prince of Songkla University). Before the concert started, there was DJ challenge as well.

P'Bell, who is the head of this event, asked me to design staff cards.

After the concert, p'Bell told me that there were many people ask for these staff cards because they liked the graphic. I have no idea whether p'Bell lied to me or not. But that made me happy now! :D

Dear Diary,

Last week, Pau, the president of student council, asked me to create personal cards for student council's members in their individual styles. Everyone's card should have name, nickname and position. I also added a sex symbol on it. For my friend who is not sure about his sex, I combined two symbols together. It's a cool idea, isn't it? hehehe

After finished designing the template, I took everyone's photos, put them on the suitable positions and printed them in the proper size. There are totally 43 cards, I selected 6 to show you today. Do you think my friends will love it?

I'm sorry that I've left you alone for a long time. This month, I've been very busy because my team has just elected to be Student Council in this academic year, and I was appointed to be in the graphic designer position.
