Dear DIG NATION,

Eighteen months ago we launched a Kickstarter campaign with little more than a bold idea and a hunch about the local zeitgeist.

We needed to test the tailwinds, gauge support for a tech-focused interactive festival and raise a seed fund to get us underway.

Charleston rallied. Our backers pledged more than $20,000 in 40 days.

The DIG ship skyrocketed and our moon shot triumphed.

Now in our second year, Yancey Strickler, CEO and Co-Founder of Kickstarter, joins us as closing keynote presenter. In hindsight, it seems prophetic. His appearance symbolizes what an interactive festival should be: a campaign to help entrepreneurs, startups, creatives and other innovators execute their visions.

DIG SOUTH’s campaign consists of three key action items:

1. We set the stage for presenters to tell their stories and connect.

2. We curate interactive experiences in locations that inspire conversation and crackling good ideas.

3. We keep those channels wide open year-round to cultivate and grow opportunities for the DIG NATION tribe.

How do we measure success? It’s simple. If you succeed, we succeed.

When you get the dream job or recruit new talent, bootstrap or gain access to capital, create and launch innovative products and services, expand, pivot to the next startup, improve the world, make history and, ultimately, successfully exit – we all win.

Welcome to DIG SOUTH,

Stanfi eld Gray
