Digital Marketing Specialist The Digital Marketing Specialist develop, implement and coordinate digital marketing strategies to promote the University of Mary brand. This will include developing plans and maintaining social network platforms, Facebook and Instagram advertising, digital signage, mobile app, SEO (search engine optimization) strategies and monitoring, email program development, as well as other digital marketing related tasks. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include: Design, develop, and post/distribute content for digital marketing media including but not limited to apps, digital signage, social media platforms email, marquee, text messaging, presentations, motion graphics and video content Maintain the university’s social media and online policy and trains faculty, staff, and groups to appropriately use social media accounts Aligns social media strategies with website strategies Develop animation or motion graphics for videos, presentations and digital experiences Monitor online competitor presence/perceptions, research new social media trends, platforms, etc Monitor web analytics using Sprout Social and Google Analytics and provide reports to the Marketing Director on a monthly basis Consult with faculty and staff to gather content for digital marketing/brand story telling Work simultaneously on multiple projects with the ability to serve as a leader and/or participant on project teams within the university Performs other related duties as requested and assigned Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience include: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Communications, or related academic area required Three years of social media experience required; minimum of three years digital marketing or communications experience required. Strong writing skills required Knowledge of Photoshop and video editors such as Final Cut pro; Prior experience in customer service, communications, video editing, online marketing; knowledge of social media management tools and analytics and Google Analytics preferred Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the office of Public Affairs and throughout the university in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ

Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist develop, implement and coordinate digital marketing strategies to promote the University of Mary brand. Knowledge and Skills Required:

Ability and desire to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects Excellent communication, oral and written, and organizational skills Proficiency in Social CRM, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn,

and MS Office Suite Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro software programs
