End of the Fiscal Year

As we arrive at the end of the fiscal year I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous financial support of St. Ann’s Church and Holy Spirit Chapel. Without your continued support, especially with regard to the 2nd Collection each month, St. Ann’s and Holy Spirit Chapel would find it difficult to both pay our bills and fix or update those things which require attention. Some of the projects completed in this fiscal year at St. Ann’s include: * New cement parking on 7th Street * New cement sidewalk on southside of church * Cutting down rotten tree in front of church and grinding stump * Updated Computer and IT infrastructure * Upgraded video surveillance, with new cameras inside the church * New air conditioning unit for the office * New flooring in the office to replace old carpet At the New St. Ann Cemetery we completed the follow-ing: * Graded and poured limestone on all the roads * Constructed a new Columnbarium Unit (48 Niches) for cremated remains At Holy Spirit Chapel we did the following; * Repaired air conditioners * Re-treated chapel for termites * Added new lights inside the Chapel * Fixed the light fixtures under the canopy * and we are looking into replacing the damaged windows in the chapel The cost for the above projects were approximately $60,000.00, and that is before regular maintenance activi-ties such as lawn care and pest control. I thank you very much for the sacrifices you’ve made in giving so generously this past year for the upkeep and maintenance of our Parishes. As we move into the 2019-2020 fiscal year I hope and pray for your continued support! Fr. Massie

CCD News Registration for all CCD grades will begin on Saturday, July 13th, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, at the Religious Ed Building. This is a great op-portunity for our 1st through 8th graders to Regis-ter and pick up their books! More information to come as we finalize the schedules for the new year.
