Network: a network is a community on Yolobe users join toobtain access to opportunities and resources.

Opportunity: opportunities jobs, internships, apprenticeships,events, education and training, and more which further thecareer trajectory of users.

Resource: resources are services offered to overcome barriersto employment (supportive services) or other helpful things

User: users are teenagers, young adults and millennials aged13-37. They use Yolobe to connect with opportunities to growtheir skills and enrichen their professional experience.

Administrator: administrators manage the networks whichusers join. They are job and career specialists, school teachersand counselors, coaches, and anyone specializing in helpingyoung adults meet their career and educational goals.

Provider: providers are organizations and professionals likeemployers, training organizations, colleges and supportiveservice agencies who provide opportunities and resources.

With your network we'll help supercharge your ability to engage with teenagers, young adults and millennials and assist them in acquiring the skills, supportive services, training, and professional life experiences they need to be ready for whatever life brings.

Networks consist of administrators (and professionals), opportunities, resources, and providers. Users connect to networks and benefit from all the opportunities, resources, people and providers they offer.

Setting up your NetworkSetting up a network is easy

We recommend you register via the web when creating your profile as step 2 requires the web. Take care to fill out your profile fully (bio, interests, achievements, picture, etc.) as you will be viewable to users.

SettingsCustomizing your network using ‘Settings’


On the Network ‘Settings’ page you can

Organizational logos are not always the best images to display. Remember you are marketing to young adults. Use our GIF search, videos, or Bing search to find great images

• Add a picture or video

• Check ‘Verification’ status

• Add biographic information in About

• Add partners, mission, and vision statement

• Change handle name• Add or change

location

Automatically display partner providers, support for multiple locations


OpportunitiesPosting opportunities and resources


Images and titles are big attention getters. Don’t be boring. Use our GIF and image finders to spruce things up! You can also post opportunities directly from the app

• Add a catchy title, search for great images and video, and add specific details (include hashtags)

• Replies are either captured on Yolobe or sent to website

• Other options are notifications for user actions, adding dates and location, and whether opportunity is public

Advanced filters like program eligibility, resource template, recurring opportunities

Post opportunities and resources from providers you work with (or your own).

Retire opportunities that are older than 30 days.Share opportunities directly with users to maximize views

• Share the opportunity with other networks and users

• Check replies to check views total and/or who has shown interest

• Select View & Change to update or retire opportunity

Administrators can perform a number of actions on opportunities and resources in their network.


Members


Eligibility data captured in user profiles under ‘Vault’, user recommended actions, user statistics, add new users

Managing members

In the members section administrators can:

• Review members and admins (admins are circled in red), join and last active dates by list or image sort

• View member profiles data including interest, eligibility, barriers, and add case notes

• View and add permissions

• Invite administrators to network and track status

Admins can access user-entered PII and barriers data for purposes of determining eligibility and building IEP


Network Inbox


Encourage users to share social posts (e.g. got the job, on the job, group activities) to your network to build community

Managing the network inbox

In the network inbox section administrators can decision all non-admin communications and opportunities

• Opportunities shared by other network administrators or users are posted here to await approval to ensure only safe and approved content is posted to your network

• Any social post shared (see user guide) with your network by any user are posted here for approval

• Administrators will receive a notification when there is an action to be taken. Simply review the post by clicking on details and selecting approval or dismiss

Yolobe campaigns are powerful ways to market your opportunities and resources to current and prospective users. With campaigns administrators can:

• Send customized and media rich interactive opportunities to a list of current and prospective users

• Send via multiple channels (Yolobe, e-mail, SMS) dynamically to maximize results

• Track and manage your campaign results

During intake connect with your client on Yolobe and send them a message. Use @ when messaging to send notification

• Join other networks –encourage your users to join other networks (and you too) to dramatically increase the opportunities available

• Connect with others – connect with other administrators outside your network and share opportunities with them

• Messaging – communicate and share with your users directly using Yolobe messaging. Encourage them to use messaging to stay in touch with you
