Rupert Jannasch, Charlotte Harper, Allison Grant, Shonda Babineau, Joyce Kelly, Andrew Giberson, Josh Oulton, Susan MacKinnon, Claude Berthélémé and other ACORN members. If you
have other good resources for us to add in a future edition, please email [email protected].
We have compiled this list of useful suppliers for the information purposes of organic growers in the Maritimes. This directory highlights local sources, while including relevant information about certain international suppliers. While ACORN does not endorse any suppliers, organic farmers suggested many of the companies listed. The
Trade Show at ACORN’s annual conference is another place to find great regional suppliers. Atlantic Canadian suppliers are listed first, followed by suppliers from other parts of Canada and the US. This list is meant to be a living document; we invite organic growers to submit their suggested additions.
What is ACORN?
ACORN is the Atlantic Canadian Organic Regional Network, a not-for-profit co-operative that aims to enhance the viability and growth of the organic community through a unified regional network.
Since 2000, ACORN has the been the key organization for information on organic agriculture, eating organics, and connecting all the parts together. From seed to farmer to consumer, ACORN works to bring the whole picture together – making food choices healthier and more environmentally responsible.
