As in past years, ACTFL continues to provide a list of s t a t e newsletters. Beginning last year, selected journals published in North America which have national and international circulation have also been listed. Addresses for subscription information a re included. The Editorial Office welcomes suggestions of additional newsletters and journals for inclusion in the 1979 listing. To be considered for inclusion, newsletters must have a minimum circuiation of 100 and be distributed beyond an individual school district or institution.
One source of information on current developments in your s t a t e is the foreign language bulletin or newsletter. Below Is a list of all publications that are reported to appear in 1978-79. A few of these newsletters limit information to modern foreign language teachers, but the majority include classical languages. Some are official bulletins of s t a t e FL associations, some receive substantial financial support from colleges or universities, and others a re sponsored by s t a t e departments of education. Contact the editor for subscription information. (The number of probable issues in 1978-79 and the average gross circulation figure for each issue appear in parentheses.)
