NHBWA was among the scholarship fund recipients. On May 28, 2015 NHBWA Board members attended a special ceremony held at the Lincoln Theatre in Disneyland Park, where NHBWA was recognized for their commitment to serving diverse students and presented with a check in support of their scholarship funds. The ceremony culminated with a commemorative viewing of the new “Paint the Night” parade, one of the new entertainment offerings during the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration. Disneyland Resort helps Orange County students pursue higher education

The Orange County Board of Supervisors Commends NHBWA’s 2014-2016 President The OC Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a Resolution dated May 26, 2015 commending and thanking NHBWA President Elizabeth Arteaga for her outstanding contribution in the positive impact she has had in the lives of women business owners and in the entire Orange County community. The Board also recognized in its resolution her active participation and work in various other community associations and development programs such as: Rancho Santiago Community College District, OC Small Business Development Center, Association of Latino Professional Finance and Accounting, and the OC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The resolution also speaks to her commitment and dedication to these organizations and how she has built impressive networks with the business community. Elizabeth Arteaga said she is blessed to have the love, encouragement, and support of her husband and two children, who have generously shared her with their fellow citizens. Congratulations Elizabeth!
