Amiad directors have decided to declare a final US$0.06 gross per share dividend out of the company’s profits for the 12 months ended 31 December 2012, up from 2011’s final dividend of US$0.055 gross per share. The dividend will have a record date of 14 June 2013 and a payment date of 8 July 2013. This makes a total dividend for 2012 of US$0.111 per share, compared with 2011’s US$0.104 gross per share payment.

Pro Corp’s board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of US$0.0725 per share payable on 14 June 2013 to shareholders of record on 31 May 2013. This is the 22nd consecutive year that Met-Pro has paid a cash dividend.

Pentair paid dividends of US$0.88 per share in 2012 and had previously announced last September that it would pay dividends of US$0.23 per share out of its capital contribution reserve for each of the first and second quarters of 2013 that had been authorised by Pentair’s former sole shareholder on 14 September 2012.

www.sulzer.com M-I Swaco’s parent company Schlumberger Ltd has announced a quarterly dividend of US$0.3125 per share of outstanding common stock. The dividend is payable on 12 July 2013 to stockholders of record on 5 June 2013.

The program is designed to help improve residential water treatment through collaboration with well-known local brands. Haier, a multinational home appliance and consumer electronics company, will use DW&PS’s advanced FILMTEC RO technology inside its residential water purification system and filtration products. The Chinese company is also authorised to use the FILMTEC RO Inside elements composite logo on its water filtration products and its water filtration marketing materials.

The advanced FILMTEC RO technology helps facilitate clean, safe water for cooking and drinking straight from the tap by helping reject dissolved impurities and contaminants.

“This alliance allows both companies to showcase and expand the reach of advanced water purification technology in China and to help provide safe drinking water for Chinese consumers,” said Guinan Qu, director of water purification at Haier.

“This program provides a growth platform for strong regional brand owners in the residential market by capitalizing on the proven success of FILMTEC RO technology by Dow,” said Snehal Desai, global business director, DW&PS. “In emerging geographies, industry standards are in their infancy, making it difficult for consumers to discern good from bad home drinking water treatment systems. Consumers seek trusted and reliable suppliers. The other companies that have partnered so far with Dow under the FILMTEC RO ingredient branding program include Midea Water Appliances, China; Angel, China; Rusfilter LLC, Russia; KAROFi, Vietnam; and Kent RO Systems Ltd, India.

Dow and Haier have been collaborating on R&D innovation since 2009. The two companies jointly held an innovation workshop in 2009, followed by a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on a global technical partnership signed in 2010. This FILMTEC RO partnership is a new expansion into the residential water treatment business and a further extension of the strategic cooperation between the two companies.

Indutrade makes Irish acquisition

Indutrade has acquired Irish flow technology sales company ESI

Technologies Ltd.ESI Technologies, with annual sales of

approximately E19 million, specialises in pumps, valves and filtration products including filter housings, filter bags, filter cartridges and filter jackets. Customers are mainly in the Irish and UK pharmaceutical, chemical, and oil and gas industries.

“With the acquisition of ESI we have strengthened our position in a geographic market that is important for us,” said Johnny Alvarsson, president and CEO of Indutrade.

The directors of ESI said: “ESI’s strategic plan has been to expand its services to its customers via a complete premium process portfolio which is supported by experienced and dedicated staff. This strategy has been successful in Ireland, where we have a significant percentage of the market spend. With Indutrade’s support and appetite for further growth by acquisition ESI can now accelerate and replicate this success in the UK.”
