Festive DIY Paper SnowflakesTurn your home into a winter wonderland by cutting out snowflakes. Hang your snowflakes from a doorway, or on the ceiling of a room for a larger effect.

Creating Your Snowflakes

1. Print out the patternedsnowflake templates,or have fun makingyour own designs.

2. Flip the paper aroundand fold the page in halflength-wise.

3. Fold the paper to half itssize along the bottomedge of the pattern.

6. Unfold the patterncarefully. Repeat withother patterns oryour own designs tomake your own winterwonderland.

5. Cut off the horizontalrectangular shape abovethe pattern. While stillfolded cut along thetemplate to make thedesired shape.

4. Fold the outer bottomedge up and diagonallyso what was the bottomedge of the rectanglenow aligns with the leftedge. The diagonal foldshould also align withthe pattern.

Creating Your Tree Ornaments

1. Print out the patternedsheet or design yourown. Cut along themarks given until youhave 9 individual circles.

2. Flip the circles aroundand fold them in half,except for one.

3. You will then get 8semicircles with thepattern on the outside.

6. Tie an invisible threadthrough the center,add a little glitter, andcustomize your tree.

5. Make sure thatthe semicircles arefolded over each otherand rotated at a 45°angle. Glue them downin place.

4. Using the 9th circle as abase, glue the back ofeach semicircle to thecenter of the base circleas shown.

Creating Your Paper Town Silhouette

1. Print out thecolored sheet ordesign your own.

2. Cut around thetown carefully alongthe line given.

3. Fold along the dottedlines towards the backof the paper town.

Optional: Tie a thread and use it as a tree ornament.

Optional: Cut out the windows and place a small light behind it.

4. Apply glue to the gluetab given and affix it tothe back of the papertown, forming a stand.
