INTRODUCTION

This is a first effort by the Federal Bureau of Prisons

Library to develop a comprehensive bibliography of recent publica-

tions relating to the field of correctional edu ation and training.

Correctional education and training is a rapidly growing field

of interest. Many cur ect publications are in mimeograph fo

published as reports and evaluations of experimental-demonstration-

pilot prog a s financed in part or completely by various federal

agencies.

Unless otherwise tndicated publi a ions are available on inter-

lib a y loan to state and federal agencies.

We regret that we are not able to provide copies of periodical

articles.

The Lib a y of the Federal Bureau of Prisons is interested in

receiving copies of any studies which could approp iately be listed
