1. DOLE OUTCOME: EMPLOYMENT PROMOTION
DOLE-ARMM facilitates jobseekers to get decentand gainful jobs and better terms and conditionsof employment in close cooperation andpartnership with the private sector as the majorjob generators.

1.a. JOBS FAIR/SPECIAL RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES (SRA)
•7 Jobs Fair and 23 Special Recruitment Activitieswere conducted with 3,968 registered applicants.
• 256 referred for local jobs.
• 1,878 referred for overseas employment.

1.b. ALIEN EMPLOYMENT
• Alien employment permit is a permit issued toa non-resident alien seeking admission to thePhilippines for employment purposes. Wenow have 9 aliens issued Employment Permit.

1.c. SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR
EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENTS (SPES)
• 2,538 student-beneficiaries for 2012 and2,740 for 2013.

1.d. DEPORTEES
• DOLE-ARMM as lead agency in partnershipwith OWWA-IX, DSWD-ARMM, Tawi-Tawi LGUand DFA thru the One Stop Processing Center inBongao processed and issued 1,834 e-Passportsfor the deportees from Sabah. 63% of this wasdeportees and 37% was regular applicants andbarter traders.

2. DOLE OUTCOME: WORKERS’ AMELIORATION AND WELFARE PROGRAM
• 300 Rural Workers Associations issuedCertificate of Registrations with 7,500 members.
•15 Rural Workers will be provided livelihoodassistance this year from local funds program.

3. DOLE OUTCOME: LABOR STANDARDS ENFORCEMENT
3.1. Contractors Safety and Health Program Registration
3 Construction firms apply for registration oftheir Occupational Safety and Health Programfor the safety and health of their workers in theworkplaces.

3.2. REGISTRATION OF ESTABLISHMENTS to ensurecompliance of Labor & Occupational Safety andHealth Standards and classifications
• 9 workers and below for TAV.
• 10 – 199 workers for TI.
• 200 and above for SA.

3.3. Technical Inspections
• Work Environment Measurement (WEM)Inspection conducted in 2 Hydro Electric PowerPlants in Agus 1 and Agus 2.
• 16 establishments inspected and 13 visited forcompliance of minimum wage law and GeneralLabor and Occupational Safety and HealthStandards.

4. MEDIATION-ARBITRATION AND LEGAL SERVICE UNIT
• 16 labor cases resolved amicably with monetary claimsawarded.
• 1,012 students provided employment counseling.
• 500 worker-clients counseled minimum wages,holidays, Service Incentive Leave Pays and othermonetary benefits due for workers.

5. LABOR RELATION, HUMAN RELATIONS AND PRODUCTIVITY, TRIPARTITE INDUSTRIAL PEACE
COUNCIL (TIPC) and LABOR MANAGEMENT COUNCIL (LMC)
• Labor Management Education LHP – Labor Management Education promotes and strengthens observance of labor laws, harmonizes work relations and provides tools for competitiveness and productivity.

• The Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC)– DOLE-ARMM organized the ARMM TIPC to immediately respond and address labor issues or conflicts and resolve them before becoming labor disputes.

• Labor Management Cooperation (LMC) – LMC will be organized in each private company so that the labor and management work hand-in-hand to accomplish certain goals using mutually acceptable means through sharing of information, discussions, consultation and negotiation as scheme of workers’ participation in decision-making.
• Occupation Safety and Health Network (OSHNET) –DOLE-ARMM Organized a regional Occupational Safety and Health Network composed of both management and workers in the region. OSHNET serves as venue for labor and management to discuss issues and concerns on occupational safety and health in the work places
