Doodles When I Grow Up Coloring FunI loved that Doodles When I Grow Up Coloring Fun was so educational and informative, yet at a level perfect for preschoolers to young school-aged children (Ages 4 & Up). For my 5 year old, it brought wonderful parent/child interaction. We have read through all the descriptions of all the careers and then he would color the pages. I noticed that it triggered quite a bit of imaginative play (and questions) about careers that he hadn’t been exposed to prior to the color fun book. The book had more than just color pages, there were also connect-the-dots, mazes and other activities for him to complete. It is a wonderful way to really teach a child about some of the many possibilities to what they can be when they grow up. I am also a believer in the “power” of the crayon and how much it can expand a child’s creativity and learning...I have watched a simple crayon expand my own child’s development, so I have nothing but the highest praise for the concepts and designs of Doodles Ave.

If all the Doodles Coloring Fun books are as well put together as the Doodles When I Grow Up Coloring Fun book is, which I believe they are, they would be perfect for homes and schools who are looking for a great way to creatively expose and teach children about various topics. As I sifted through the Doodles Ave website, I found it also to be a wealth of information and a great resource for moms & teachers alike, plenty of downloadable activities to enhance a child’s learning experience and expand on the Doodles Coloring Fun books. Definitely worth checking out!

Doodles Alphabet Coloring FunMy little girl just loved this coloring book as you can see in the picture above (see blog) and I was really happy that it had nice size pictures to go with the alphabet letters and the words so she can color them. I was able to sit down with her and read the words to her and the alphabet letter while she colored the picture that matched the word and the letter.

This was an educational tool for her to have fun with and it makes mom happy that she is learning while having fun. I rated the Doodles Alphabet Coloring Fun Book 5/5 Stars.
