Introduced at the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2006 was the 1/35 scale hand model/prototype of the DORA Railway Gun from a manufacturer in Hong Kong going to be distributed by a German company to the retail stores in Germany.

To make this huge kit become real and get into production a minimum of 2000 ea. need to be produced. This is the no. of preorders the distributor likes to get from the retail stores to minimize financial risk. This seems to be achieved. After a phone call with the manufacturer they confirmed the molds are being worked on that the time schedule for release in November is on track! Also, we will produce an aluminum turned barrel for the DORA once we got the test shot to take measurements. No price yet determined for the barrel.

Now to the kit:

It is coming with double-rails and rail bed of about 2 meters in



length, the railway gun will be about 160cm of length.











It will be made from plastic injection moulds. No resin nor etched parts.









We should get some test shots of the sprue sometime in October and will show them here.

We are collecting preorders, planned release date for the kit is November 2006.

We do only accept genuine and serious preorders. We take Euro 75,- or USD 90,- as a down payment. Should this kit for what reasons ever not get into production we will fully refund the down payment. Should the kit get into production and you cancel your preorders you agree that we keep the down payment to cover



our cost for promotion/marketing/advertising and our other efforts to help bringing this extraordinary kit on the market. We think this is a fair offer. Once production is going to run, we will also take low rates to pay down the complete price until the kit is ready to ship. This is another service to not hurt your wallet too much at once.

FAQ

Will you produce the kit ?

NO ! We do not produce the kit, it will be produced in Hong Kong.

Since it will be produced in China, is the quality like that of a toy?

NO ! The manufacturer does OEM-production for other better known manufacturers and expect at least average quality, if not TOP. I have seen their Yamato in 1/144 scale which is of superb details.

Where will this kit be available?

We do not know all of the channels of the German distributor,



we know it is going to be offered to German based shops, no info about international distribution.

How do I order?



Only those who do a down payment will be registered customers and count in as a preorder and forwarded to the distributor. You can order by fax, email, letter or phone. We need your complete contact data and way of payment. We accept bank transfer to our US-and German Bank, Visa/Master/AmEx Card, Postal Money Order or Bank Check! Paypal accepted only as last option, Paypal is a rip off so we try to avoid it cause we don't want to pay the hi fees. Does the price include shipping cost? Yes + NO ! The shipping cost is included to addresses within the US-48 States only ! Means: all other addresses expect to be charged shipping at cost. We expect the kit to weigh at least about 10 Kg and size of the box is not clear yet. We do ship at cost worldwide with DHL or other forwarders. Be aware that shipping cost will raise the price of the kit when offered through our shop in the USA.

Will the Aftermarket produce detail-sets?

I am not aware of the plans of other manufacturers but we will offer an aluminum turned barrel for both the 144 and the 35 Dora ! Stay tuned on this !

Will I get divorced when I buy this kit?

Well, that is if your wife does not love you anyway !

Will my husband love me forever if I buy him this kit?

YES! Definitely! And it keeps him away from the bars and casinos and bet-booths and of course from other women! And he will of course always think of you crazy chicken !
