This course focus on food services management and kitchen operation, which includereceiving rawmaterials, storing, monitoring equipments. The course provides a generalknowledgeofthehealthspecificationsneededtoguaranteequalitycontrol.

2 NutritionalPharmacology-NUTR411:Basicknowledgeonpharmacotherapy,nutrientdruginteractionwillpreparedietitiansforclinicalpracticeinthehospital.cardio,endocrine(obesity),renal,liver,digestivedrugswithemphasisonmetabolicinteractionsbetweennutrientsanddrugs.

3 NutritionalGenomics-NUTR416:ThiscoursewillintroducestudentstothebasicconceptsandprinciplesofnutritionalrelatedHuman genetics and their clinical applications, followed by an overview of nutritionalgenomics to develop an understanding of gene regulations with respect to diet and itsrelationshiptosomecommonnutritionaldiseasesandunderstandingtheroleofnutritioninpreventionofpolygenicdiseases.

4 EnteralandParenteralNutrition-NUTR325:Thiscourseestablishestherationaleandthecriteriaforappropriatenutritionsupport.Itwillfocusonenteralandparenteralnutrition,formulacomposition,givingmedication,monitoringandcomplications.Also,itwilldiscussnutritionalsupportinlong–termandhomeconcern.

5 NutritionthroughLifeCycle-NUTR223:Thiscourseisdesignedtoprovidestudentswithscientificinformationabouttheimpactofnutritionacrossthelifespanfrompreconceptiontolateadulthood.Normalgrowthanddevelopmentuseofgrowthcharts,nutritionassessment,nutrientneedsanddeficiencieswillbestudiedforeveryphaseoflife.
