PES 2016:
Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 (abbreviated to PES 2016 and known as Winning Eleven 2016
in Japan) is a football simulation game developed by PES Productions and published by
Konami for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
It is the fifteenth edition of the Pro Evolution Soccer series. The cover of the game featuresNeymar of Barcelona (seen wearing his Brazil national team kit).
PES 2016 is also PES productions' 20th anniversary in making football games. The name
of the game has been renamed from "World Soccer: Winning Eleven" to "Pro Evolution
Soccer" in Asia (except Japan) and "Winning Eleven" in Japan and respectively.

FIFA 16 is an upcoming association football simulation video game published by EA Sports
for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android and
iOS.
The game is the first in the FIFA series to include female players. It is also the first in which
the players on the covers were chosen by popular vote, including the first women to
appear on the cover.
Game release date is September 22,2015 So no ratings for the game yet In today’s world, they are the two brands under which football games is delivered to the
virtual gamers in PC, PlayStation-BOX, and PSP. They play monopoly in this market.

SEVEN STEPS TO BE USED FOR DIGITAL MARKETING OF GAMES:
1. Make your video game fans into rock stars : Your fans are both your customers and your
biggest marketing asset, so promote them! Create situations in which your fans can share their
talents and passion for your video games. Run contests where fans are encouraged to create
videos, art, photos and even essays.
2. Match the video game’s personality with its social media voice: Social media is the outlet that
gives your games a voice. You decide whether that voice will be the voice of the game or the
voice of the publisher. The game itself lives in a fantasy land, where zombies get shot in the face
and pimps and hookers get run over with trucks.
3. Promote your social media campaign with paid advertising: Even if you’re starting a new
campaign with millions of likes, followers and subscribers, you still have to reach new audiences.
Existing fans can’t be trusted to do that kind of heavy lifting. Say for instance you’re running a
contest. That’s up to you. Paid banners, Facebook ads, video seeding and blog and publication
outreach are all very important, especially at the start of a campaign, to raise awareness and get
people involved.
4. Remember that you sell video games: This may seem obvious, but developing and launching
digital marketing campaigns that involve videos, contests, interactive Facebook tabs, mobile
games and apps can easily distract from the end, which is selling games. We’re creating digital
playgrounds and amazing events for fans to interact with, leading up to the launch of the game.
5. Don’t get hung up on which social media platforms to use : To make your video game title
ubiquitous, develop digital marketing strategies, creative and tactics that engage fans
everywhere. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube aren’t the only games in town. Truly innovative
digital campaigns are integrating social media platforms, mobile, outdoor, broadcast and newer
tactics like augmented reality to create cross-media marketing experiences for their fans.
6. Roll around in the mud with your fans : We recently wrapped a social media campaign for a
fighting game that included a reality show where fans competed for a spot in the house and then
competed against each other. The senior product manager for the game participated as the Dana
White-esque host -- and it was awesome! Make videos, do interviews, let your fans know how
committed you are, and they will be too.
7. Don’t mess with video gamers: If there’s one thing I’ve learned from being on the front lines
of video game social media communications, it’s that video gamers do not like to be messed with.They will reward you with their loyalty as long as you do what you say you’ll do, and be authentic
and transparent with them. They’re suspending their disbelief to enter the video game world you
create, but that suspension of disbelief only goes so far. Test their loyalty, an d they’ll digitally
tear you apart and leave bite marks that can last a long time.

It is very likely that PES page has more visitors for the past week, as the game released onSeptember 15, 2015. Each posts made by them has vast reach than FIFA’s Page, rather than
posting the features of the games PES simply post the graphics in the game while players are
playing, Videos, and their improvements over the last version.
PES Page has more visitors because it was one of the trademark game made under the brand
name KONAMI but EA sports has many games so FIFA has not get much response as pes did .

There are many hash tags I had taken the hash tags for PES 16 and FIFA 16
From the pages on twitter,
It is seen that FIFA 16 has more engagement with the people in twitter than PES 16 more than
millions of following the FIFA 16 hash tag, It is due to the fact that the star player, Lionel Messi
has officially tweeted in FIFA 16 page, about his views on FIFA 16 game. Similarly many
football players had officially tweeted on the website regarding the game, it led the followers of
the page to increase to million.
PES used twitter to mention official dates of the game release, trailers. Which had always
hyperlinked with YouTube but FIFA 16 mentioned faces of various players, User experiences,
Players engagements than the videos and hyperlinks.

world get to know about this games including me.
One of the core competitive advantage for PES series is that it’s improvement in graphics
every series. We blindly say that the graphics of this version is better than the previous version.
But that where FIFA series lags behind, rather than focusing on its graphics it shifted it position
to focus on the additional attributes. Even though attributes are vast then PES their graphics
level is getting poorer every version till now
In YouTube, trailers, gameplay experience videos of PES 16 is getting more hits than the FIFA 16
trailers and gameplay videos. As I mentioned in previous paragraph that PES 16 give the link of
videos in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram there YouTube marketing brings a huge amount in their
sales. YouTube Campaigning of PES 16 was a huge success.

Suggestion For future plans:
Now PES Series had huge market in foreign countries than FIFA Series as its graphicsquality was improving every series.
Why graphics?
In order to make the gamers feel very comfortable, you have to make the game very
real and that was the thing PES really did to engage with gamers.
FIFA is not effectively using social media websites even though they had huge presence
in the social sites. They have to give good contents, videos and good data to improve
the hits in the Social media sites
FIFA did not have a good presence in Android apps, first person playing game so they
had to provide good quality in their gaming
One of the biggest advantage of FIFA is that their ease of control is better than PES so
that they are giving a better competition to them. Now PES is started trying to eradicate
it by providing ease of control.
Conclusion:
After the first round of Digital marketing it is PES 16 that rises superior to FIFA 2016.
Still FIFA 16 is not released, Actual winner of this year football is not known. As EA sports
director said that there are many hidden surprises in the game that you will never experience in
other games the viewers also expecting more from FIFA too, so the second round of promoting
is yet to happen between these two in the future.
