Looking BackWe will look back at East Side’s CRCT scores

over the last three years and compare their scores against the county’s.

As we look at each slide think about the following:Do we have more students meeting and

exceeding the standards versus the county as a whole?

From year to year have we made progress with our 3rd and 5th graders?

Where are East Side’s strengths and weaknesses?

With the implementation of Columbia’s Reading and Writing Workshop models over the last three years, we have seen an increase in our Reading and ELA scores.

Last year we saw a small decrease in the number of 5th grade students exceeding in Reading and ELA, however, we are still much higher than the county average.

We have made no change in our 3rd and 5th grade Math scores between Spring 2012 and 2013.
