Now why are we making Stoppers For the same reason any established company expands into a related area. We see a future for superior stoppers — a great, growing future, especially in the laboratories of schools. The experiments of tomorrow's scientists can- not be automated. We intend to supply them with the finest laboratory products our know-how makes possible. Yes, stoppers are a modest product — but they remain a mighty necessary modest product in today's laboratories — and tomorrow's. We have had a century of experience at Easthampton Rubber Thread Company in a highly exacting field. We have put all of that experience plus our extensive research facili- ties into developing a line of superior stoppers. Today we present these stoppers to you. We honestly feel they are the finest ever offered. There are three basic grades for your use, each in your choice of solid, one-hole, and two-hole types: GRADE M29 BLACK RUBBER Even a staple can be improved. Greater rubber formulation results in a softer, more resilient stopper. This low-cost, high-quality product answers most laboratory requirements. The softer bounce of more rubber means better sealing, prevents breakage and freezing. GRADE M18 PURE GUM Isoprene gives greater uniformity, resiliency, and clarity. This man-made rubber equals nature's best — plus improv- ing resistance to extreme temperatures, high and low. Pure gum is less than 4 % extractable — can be sterilized, keeps its shape for exceptionally long life. Safe and clean, it floats — never bobbles. GRADE M3S GREEN NEOPRENE Now sulphur-free green replaces black neoprene. This strong, new stopper withstands 150°C temperatures — remarkably resists petroleum products, sunlight, oxidation, heat, gas, flame, and oils of all kinds. All grades are being produced from brand new molds on new equipment. Hence you get a better finish, a smoother surface . „ . constant, controlled quality. All come to you in five-pound packages, and the convenient shelf-saving one- pound pack, if you prefer. All are backed by Easthampton's century-old reputation for leadership, quality, and service you can count on. Molded Products stoppers are part of a complete line of products for industrial and educational laboratories, in- cluding cylinder guards, crucible holders, dropper bulbs, and stopper ties. They're available now at your laboratory supply house. For free samples and full information, write Department RLS at Easthampton. molded products DIVISION: EASTHAMPTON RUBBER THREAD CO. Now why are we making Stoppers

For the same reason any established company expands into a related area. We see a future for superior stoppers — a great, growing future, especially in the laboratories of schools. The experiments of tomorrow's scientists cannot be automated.

We have put all of that experience plus our extensive research facilities into developing a line of superior stoppers. Today we present these stoppers to you. We honestly feel they are the finest ever offered.

There are three basic grades for your use, each in your choice of solid, one-hole, and two-hole types: GRADE M29 BLACK RUBBER Even a staple can be improved.
