Glidevale eaves ventilationsystems have beendesigned to provide a range

of solutions to introduce low levelventilation into roofspaces in anunobtrusive way.

There are two primary methods ofintroducing the ventilation at low leveleither via the soffit in discrete units orcontinuous systems using the SV soffitrange or over the fascia in continuoussystems using the FV fascia range. All provide full compliance with BS 5250Control of Condensation in Buildings, theprimary means to comply with BuildingRegulations in the UK as well as providingdriving rain and large insect resistance.

Once inside it is important that theventilation air actually reaches all parts ofthe roofspace to be able to remove highhumidity air and reduce the risk of harmfulcondensation from forming. To ensure thisoccurs the RV rafter trays are available in arange of styles to suit numerousapplicatons and are designed to ensure aclear unobstructed path from SV or FVventilators to the roofspace.

Description, ApplicationsFV Fascia Ventilators are an unobtrusivemethod of providing ventilation in a range ofeaves details, including those without aprojecting soffit. They must always be usedwith RV Rafter Ventilators, to provide acontinuous ventilation path from the roofvoid to the outside without impairing theweatherproof function of the structure, asrequired by BS 5250. They can also be used in situations wheredetailing is difficult and tile or slateventilators are inappropriate, eg parapetwalls, secret gutters, corbelled eaves andmonopitch ridges. FV250 Ventilator canalso be used for flat roofs.

FV100 Over Fascia VentilatorInstalled continuously, providesguaranteed actual ventilationopening of 10 000mm2/m. Fit with gutter bracket spacers(supplied separately) wherenecessary.
