PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT

THE ON SCREEN ‘BUG’� We are committed to protecting you as

a commercial subscriber by takingaction that can ultimately lead to the

prosecution of businesses who show

content exclusive to Sky without the

proper commercial agreement.

� Sky works with specialist investigator

companies and the Federation Against

Copyright Theft (FACT) to protect

legitimate subscribers’ investment and

to stamp out fraud.

� As a legitimate Sky commercial

customer you will see a pint glass(known as the 'bug’) appear in the

corner of your TV screen.

� The bug will not always be on screenand you won’t know which matches or

channels the bug will appear on, or

even where it may appear on screen.

� This bug instantly reveals who is - and

most importantly, who is not -

showing content exclusive to Sky with

the correct commercial viewing

agreement.

� You must hold a valid commercial

agreement with Sky in order to screen

live Barclays Premier League matches

in public areas of your premises.

� The bug represents a major investment

by Sky and has been developed to helpprotect you and your business

interests.

� Anyone caught showing content

exclusive to Sky in public areas without

a commercial agreement is committing

an offence and risks a fine of up to

£5,000 in the UK and a criminal

record. They also risk a civil action

with associated damages and costs.

� It is illegal to use equipment designed

for use abroad to screen matches in

commercial premises in the UK. The

maximum fine on conviction is £5,000

per offence. A civil action for damages

can also result.

� We also have field forces throughout

the UK to detect illegal showing ofcontent exclusive to Sky and to warn

businesses of the consequences of

illegal activity.

� If anyone tries to sell you foreign

satellite equipment or if you are aware

of anyone showing illegal broadcasts

then please report them to the

Premier League’s policing agent, Media

Protection Services on 0845 290 3434.

YOUR UNIQUE SKY LICENCE� When you become a

customer, we will send

you a unique Sky

Licence to put up in

your window.

� We need you to display

the Sky Licence

prominently in your

premises, preferably in

a street facing window,

so that it can easily be

seen by members of

the public.

� Your Sky Licence is

uniquely linked to your

Sky account and cannot

be duplicated.

� Displaying your Sky

Licence prominently

helps to combat the

minority of businesses

who show content

exclusive to Sky without

the proper commercial

agreement.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPlease read carefully the following important terms of this ECB Affiliated Club DTH UK Agreement. The restrictions and information set out form part of the Agreement between you and Sky.

1. What are these Subscription Agreements about?This Agreement enables you to receive Sky’s ECB Club DTH

UK service, ECB Club DTH UK Sky+ Service and the ECB Club

DTH UK Sky+HD Service at the ECB Club identified in your

Contracts Form for exhibition of that Service in your

Premises.

2. What is an ECB Club?In this Agreement, an ECB Club means the premises of a

current member club of the England and Wales Cricket Board at

which member activities are undertaken. Sky has sole

discretion in determining whether a premises is a ECB

Affiliated Club.

3. How long does each Subscription Agreementlast?This Agreement will last for at least 12 months (the ‘Minimum

Term’) unless the term is increased by an offer term or we end

it earlier for one of the reasons given in Condition 17 of the

Terms and Conditions Booklet.

4. What do I have to do to be a Sky Businesssubscriber?If you are an individual, you must be 18 or over. You must have

the authority to enter into this Agreement in respect of the

serviced Apartment set out in your Contracts Form.

5. Is this the right Agreement for my business?If you are an ECB Club in the UK, Isle of Man or Channel

Islands and you wish to distribute Sky in your Premises; then

these are the right agreements for you. If not, then you can

obtain the right correct agreement by calling 08448 244 244.

Under these Agreements, your Premises must be in the

United Kingdom of Britain, including Northern Ireland,

Channel Islands or Isle of Man (the ‘Territory’, as defined in

the terms and conditions booklet). The Viewing Card which

you will be sent is authorised for use only within the

Territory. Use of the Viewing Card outside of the Territory is

strictly prohibited.

6. Will prices rise during the Minimum Term?We are allowed to increase your Charges at any time on

giving you at least 30 days notice.

7. What if I want to change my Services during theAgreement?Simply call the Sky Business Customer Services team

on 08448 244 244.

8. Will the Services change during theseAgreements?The Service, including all channels in the package you

choose, the channels for which you can use the personal

video recorder (PVR) functionality of the Sky+ Service and

Sky HD Subscription channels, may be varied from time to

time during the term of the Agreements. Some channels may

be removed or replaced by others. When new channels are

offered to you and/or added to the Service you receive, these

shall be provided for viewing in non-communal areas of your

Premises only and PVR functionality cannot be used unless

we notify you otherwise in writing.

9. What is the Sky Licence for?When you subscribe we will send you a Sky Licence for your

Premises. The Sky Licences are unique documents that are

linked to your Sky Business account. You must display the Sky

Licences prominently in your Premises, so that it can be seen by

members of the general public who are outside of your

Premises, such as on a street-facing window. The Sky Licences

are one of the measures we take to combat the minority of

businesses who show content exclusive to Sky without the

proper commercial agreement.

10. Where can I show the Services?You must observe all restrictions on exhibition of the Services

set out in these Agreements or that are otherwise notified to

you by Sky. This includes new or amended restrictions on the

viewing of channels or particular programmes in any areas of

the Premises and new or amended restrictions on the use of the

PVR functionality of the Sky+ Service.

You are not permitted to and must not show any channels which

are subject to restrictions other than as expressly permitted. If

you have any questions as to whether you can show any

channels at all or in any particular areas of your Premises,

please ask us by calling 08448 244 244.

As at date of print, channels restricted to non-communal areas

include: Sky Arts, Sky Real Lives, Sky Travel, Movies 24, Star Gold,

Star One, Hallmark, SciFi, TV5, TVEi, Diva TV, Star News, Star

Plus, DW-TV, Jetix, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, CN Too,

Cartoonito, Sky Arts 2, Sky Real Lives 2 and Shorts TV.

11. What High Definition channels will I receive aspart of the HD Pack?When you subscribe to the HD Pack the channels you receive

will be dependant on whether your underlying package i.e

Sky Base or Sky Ultimate, contains the equivalent standard

definition channel.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT� When we receive your completed Agreement(s), we will set up a subscription account

and process your payment

� We will send you a Sky Viewing Card normally within 2 to 3 days of processing your

Agreement(s)

� We will contact you to arrange an installation date if requested. Your equipment will be

delivered by your engineer on the day of installation.

� When you have installed your Sky satellite equipment, call 08448 244 244 with your

Sky Viewing Card to hand to activate Sky. Your viewing and Subscription Payments begin!
