Edmodo – PLN / PLC

Have you heard the terms PLN (Professional Learning Network) or PLC (Professional Learning Community)? Edmodo is an easy way to connect with other teaching colleagues to expand your learning community.

Once you’ve created an account (instructions are here J:\Staff\_NORTH ESSENTIALS\edmodo )you can “browse” communities. Scroll down and click on “browse” on the left side of the screen.

Select your subject area then click on “follow the subject”. You will benefit from comments, ideas, links, notes posted by others. You can pose a question and get answers, suggestions and support. Community members form groups for specialized sharing. Also look at the more specialized publisher communities below...
