Feature articles for 2014/15St Thomas A Becket Primary School has just taken possession of a brand new school building. It is an eco friendly construction, one half of which was fabricated off site and installed in only 12 weeks. The school now has a fabulous facility that has won the approval of pupils, staff and parents alike. We take a good look at the building and interview the Head on the positive influence the building has made.

Smoking and Blindness - The blind chief executive of a national charity is appealing to teachers to help get the message across to children that smoking causes sight loss. Tony Rucinski’s views underpin a new resource pack being launched by the Macular Society, to help teachers explain the link between smoking and blindness.
