The school celebrated its ten-year anniversary in 2016. The school’s 62-acre campus is nestled in a growing suburban area called Eastvale, in the greater Inland Empire region. The four corners of the school are literally sandwiched between rows of new housing tracks and existing farms and dairies. The 2016-2017 school year welcomed the first class of freshman to the Eastvale STEM Academy; plans to open a multi-level STEM facility on the ERHS campus in 2019-2020 remains in place. This will eventually add another 1000 students to the growing ERHS campus and community at large. Over the last ten years, Eleanor Roosevelt High School students have made their mark in various national and state academic award programs such as the National Merit Scholarship Program, the Gates Millennium Scholar program, Boys State, and the prestigious Questbridge College Matching Program. In 2017, ERHS was again recognized by the US News & World Report as one of the state’s best high schools, receiving a silver medal for its College Readiness Index, and ranking higher than approximately 90% of the schools in California. In addition, Eleanor Roosevelt High School received regional recognition from the Riverside County Office of Education as a “Model of Excellence” for supporting at-risk and underserved students. The school’s mission is to create a dynamic, innovative learning environment that meets the needs of our diverse student body, guiding students toward excellence in college and career readiness, while challenging them to be responsible citizens. Students Eleanor Roosevelt High School supports a diverse student body. Among the 4,400 students enrolled in August 2017, there is a small, but robust, presence of special needs students ages 14-22 who participate in some general education classes and school activities. Class Rank: Grade levels included are 9th through 11th grades (including summer session) for 6th semester transcript; 9th through first semester 12th for the 7th semester transcript. All semester and/or yearlong courses are included. Specific rank is reported for each student.

Grade Point Average Computation: A = 4 points B = 3 points C = 2 points D = 1 point F = 0 point In determining Grade Point Average, one point per semester is added for each course taken from Advanced Placement and Honors level courses as noted on the transcript. Eleanor Roosevelt High School: Curriculum

Eleanor Roosevelt High School offers a rigorous academic curriculum. The majority of classes are offered at the College Preparatory level. Students who meet course prerequisites may enroll in Honors and Advanced Placement courses. There are six class periods in a two-day rotating block schedule.
