Tried and tested 3-phase ACtechnology 3-phase AC current is a type of alternat-ing current from the regular mains sup-ply – a million times tried and tested inall industry sectors. 3-phase AC motorsare advantageous due to a reducednumber of components and wearingparts. They therefore are considerablymore productive, reliable and cost-effec-tive. The problem until the beginning ofthe 90’s was that batteries for electrictrucks only supplied direct current.

Safety in corners with JungheinrichCurve Control The truck speed whilst cornering is auto-matically reduced if the angle is too tightfor that speed. The brake is automati-cally activated regardless of the selectedtravel programme and keeps the opera-tor, load and truck at a safe speed. Youradvantage: truck instability is effectivelyreduced.

More operating stability withProTracLink suspensionProTracLink connects the support wheelswith a torsion bar. The advantagesbecome particularly obvious on unevenfloors and ramps:■ No instability in operation.
Possible faults are self-correcting.■ The centrifugal forces are distributed
between the support wheels asrequired – evenly distributed duringstraight travel and concentrated on the outer support wheel duringcornering.
■ When approaching a ramp from theside, the freely suspended supportwheel does not hit the ramp andprovides additional protection.

Less wear on fork tipsTravelling with the forks lowered causesfrequent problems during empty runs inintensive applications on ramps. If doorsills or ramp edges are crossed, the forkswear very quickly. A new steering modeprevents this. Steering automaticallychanges to slow travel when the forksare lowered. The objective is to get thedriver to raise the forks and thus effec-tively stop the forks from wearing.
Travelling with tiller inupright position is possible via crawl speed buttonWith the crawl speed button, pedestrianoperated trucks can be manoeuvredeffortlessly and safely in the most con-fined spaces. Here the travel speed isautomatically reduced to slow travel.

Effortless control with SmartPilotThe SmartPilot provides the best condi-tions for internal and external efficientand safe operation throughout the shift.The contactless sensor system ensuressafety inside. Operator protection according toEU standardFor the protection of operators, the EUhas passed the user regulation “2002/44/EU Vibration”. In this regulation, theEU prescribes the total volume of “vibra-tions” per day that an operator can besubjected to at his workplace.
The responsibility for adhering to thisregulation lies solely with the user.Jungheinrich supports its customers withthis strongly in mind.

Short chassis lengthAdd about 70 mm to the width of thisdouble page and you will get theapproximate chassis length (L2 dimen-
sion*) of the EJE 1 Series: 494 mm. Andthere is a lot to the truck! Despite thisextremely short length, 1 Series is full of technical advantages making dailyoperations faster, simpler and more eco-nomical – especially when taken on alorry.
* The L2 dimension of the standard version (S) is 494 mm;
the L2 dimension of the long version (M) is 565 mm.
Easy battery chargingThe integrated charger (optional) allowseasy charging or top-up charging duringoperation. Battery capacities of up to250 Ah particularly for long operatingtimes are available.

Short chassis for easy manoeuvringThe construction of the EJE C20 is spe-cially adapted to confined spaces. Due toa mast integrated in the battery com-partment, the EJE C20 has a chassislength which is only slightly longer thanthat of a conventional pallet truck.Together with the crawl speed button,the EJE C20 is suitable for manoeuvringin confined spaces.

Mast lift for back-friendly order pickingThe Jungheinrich EJE C20 is a pedestrianpallet truck based on the EJE. Its specialfeature: any load to be order-picked iseffortlessly lifted to a back-friendly pick-ing height. The capacity is 700 kg – apractical capacity for partly picked loads.Due to separate operation of supportarm and mast lift (optional), simplestacking tasks – such as taking off a halfpallet – can be easily carried out.

Very heavy loadsWorking in the most demanding condi-tions with heavy loads, especially duringlorry loading and unloading or duringthe transport of loads, is an EJE 2 Seriesspeciality. A chassis with sideways bat-tery removal is available for multi-shiftoperations.
Very powerful drive motorThe powerful drive motor of the EJE 2Series does not differentiate betweenwhether the truck is with our withoutload. The trucks reach their maximumtravel speed of 6 km/h even when fullyloaded.
Very strong chassisThe 8 mm strong chassis underpins long-term high productivity – in the ware-house and in production, during hardcontinuous applications on ramps, intwo or three shift operation or whenloading and unloading lorries. Otheradvantages are the torsion-resistantforks and skids on the forks to protectagainst wear.
Load unit with additional steelreinforcement (optional)To protect the battery reliably againstshocks during intensive applications, theload unit is available with additional steelreinforced pallet buffer.

Ramp liftSloping loading ramps for loading andunloading of the first pallet row on lor-ries or wagons are no problem for theEJE 220r/222r. Both trucks have a pa-tented ramp lift in addition to thenormal lift. This allows fork levelling onramps and gradients of up to 15%.

Stainless steel designEspecially for high hygiene in the foodand pharmaceutical industries: EJE i20/i25 with chassis and mast made of stain-less steel.
■ Slanted surfaces and generous aper-tures ensure unobstructed draining ofdetergents after cleaning/disinfecting.
■ Additionally sealed or protected com-ponents allow operation in humidenvironments.
■ The EJE i25 can also be supplied withtwo drive motors for particularly diffi-cult floor conditions.

Low cost operationThe stand-on platform and side protec-tion are folded out effortlessly for trans-port over longer distances. The maxi-mum travel speed here is 8.5 km/h. Thisresults in significantly higher throughputthan for comparable ride-on trucks.Sideways battery removal is available formulti-shift operation.

Space-saving utilisationThe ERE 120 is particularly compact andideally suited for flexible and easy ride-on operation – on ramps as well as fortransporting loads of up to 2000 kg overmedium distances. In tight spaces, theplatform and side protection can befolded into the contours of the truckmaking the ERE even shorter for easymanoeuvring in the narrowest aisles. Themaximum speed with folded in sideprotection is limited to 6 km/h.

Higher speed, more productivity,more safetyThe ERE 225 achieves a top speed of12.5 km/h without load. Added to this ishigh acceleration: The ERE 225 achieves95% of its top speed after only 10 m.The advantage is that throughput in-creases by more than 25% comparedwith pedestrian trucks.
The fixed stand-on platform with en-closed side protection ensures maximumsafety – especially on narrow ramps orduring frequent reversing.
