Electronic Credit Card Authorization User Guide

Purpose: This quick reference guide offers instructions on how to submit credit card information

in a secure PCI compliant environment to Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Inc for upcoming stay or

event.

How to Submit the Form

The Credit Card Authorization form is separated in three sections:

1) Group Billing Information

2) Guest Room Only Information

3) Credit Card Information

Group Billing Information

In this section, please review following details for accuracy:

Property name

Hotel contact

Guest contact

Guest Room Only Information

This section is for entering room resetvations details and charges that should be charged to the

credit card provided.

In this section there are 2 ways of entering guest room information:

1. Find Guest Information: Enter confirmation number and last name and click on the “Retrieve

Guest information” button. Reservation deatils such as name, arrival & departure dates will

be automatically displayed.

2. Enter Guest Information: Please enter guest room reservation details:

a) Confirmation number (Optional)

b) First and last name

c) Arrival & departure date

Next select the charges that should be applied to the credit card. If you need to add more guest

reservations then click on “Add Guest” link once current guest details are saved.

Lastly, enter your inital to confirm that the guest reservation information provided is accurate.

You can add upto 25 guest reservations to the form.

Credit Card Information

All fields in this section are required fields.

a. The credit card information must be valid.

b. The CNP or Security Code is not requested due to PCI regulations.

c. Phone number and email adress must be valid.

If you wish to print the page for record, click on ‘File’ & “Print” from the top left corner in the web

broswer.

Once the form is submitted you will receive an email confirming that the form was succesfully

submitted.
