A VIBRANT HUB FOR LEARNINGNanyang Technological University aspires to discover new knowledge through an interdisciplinary approach. Its renowned business college – Nanyang Business School – has prepared generations of students to excel in the global corporate arena.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is located in Singapore, one of the most dynamic and cosmopolitan Asian markets. The school’s origins date back several decades, when Chinese immigrants crossed the southern seas – or “Nanyang” – en route to Malaya in search of a better life. Several years later, a group of Singapore-based Chinese philanthropists and entrepreneurs worked together to build a university for the Chinese diaspora. In 1953, the rst stones of the NTU campus were laid.

That entrepreneurial drive and spirit is still palpable today at NTU, whose 200-hectare campus is among the largest in Singapore. A vibrant hub of learning and research, NTU encompasses colleges of engineering, business, science, humanities, arts and social sciences, in addition to 70 research centres, two graduate schools and a national institute of education.

True to its entrepreneurial origins, NTU recently embarked on a major campus transformation that will convert its grounds into a sustainable “univer-city” designed to promote new approaches to learning, research and relaxation.
